This rug is thick, dense fibers, heavy, and feels wonderful underfoot, even without a pad. The colors are definitely on the warm side, so if you are looking for straight grey, you may want a different rug. I am super pleased with this high quality rug, and would happily recommend it to a friend!!!

I am in the process of returning this due to a defect. After unrolling it (it was NOT smoothly packaged but had long foldover wrinkles on it), we noticed a significant spot that was either smashed or more likely defective. It looked like a patch of carpet that was not the same length as every other part- like a badly mown lawn. It was a defect that was noticeable to anyone who would look at it. I tried to vacuum it to see if it would go flat and nothing worked. I let it lie flat for over an hour and then gave up when I tried to get the spot to blend in with the others. There was shedding all over the place, too! This was our second attempt to get this rug- the first time they sent the wrong rug that was a larger size and looked like gray and silver in a pattern rug. I really wanted this rug, but I am not going to reorder for a third time. Returns, however, are very easy just be careful how you cut off the plastic because you might be needing to return the rug. (this was NOT a pseudo defect caused by the wrapping- it was definitely a patch of badly cut fibers). ... show more

This rug is horrid! Beautiful design, but the blue wool fibers are all over the white. It looks dirty all the time. Vacuuming has to be done by handheld to avoid the fibers getting on the other color. Not a good purchase!!! Try yellow!

The rug is beautiful and as pictured, but it’s extremely high maintenance. After 3 years, it still sheds daily. Immediately after walking on it, it looks like a total mess. I vacuum it 2x a day and it doesn’t make a difference in the shedding. It’s a quality thick rug and the colors are rich, but I would never purchase again because it’s always a disaster and the fibers fill my vacuum and cause it to automatically shut off. The vacuum has to be emptied only half way through the vacuuming of the rug. Very disappointing. ... show more
