I bought this to replace an old futon we inherited from our son when he moved away. It's infinitely more comfortable and better looking. It was fairly easy for me to put it together by myself, despite being a little heavy. I needed a futon to use as a couch in our office/media room that could double as an occasional guest bed. I have never been one to fall asleep in my chair or on the sofa, but I've "briefly" laid down on this futon a couple times now and fallen fast asleep. I love it and so does the puppy dog:) Only took me an hour to put together, but would recommend having someone help you if you have the opportunity to- just because it was a bit heavy to maneuver alone for me personally. The green color option is actually dark teal (gorgeous color though). It’s not the softest thing in the world but it’s not bad, just wanted a smaller couch in my apartment that could also double as a quick bed for a guest, plus it looks amazing.     • Doesn’t hold up under regular use
My couch came on time and took about 45 minutes for two adults to assemble. It was easy and the instructions were clear. The finished product is a firm, attractive, and not at all durable couch. Also, the box it arrived in was damaged, and the couch was dirty in one spot because of it, but it cleaned up fairly well. I’ve had this for a month, and it’s already broken. The wood that supports the reclining mechanisms has broken on one of the back cushions, and the staples holding the fabric in place have come out in the same spot. The seat backs no longer sit up at the same angle because of this. One of the tufting buttons has come loose, and the fabric on the seats is already starting to look stretched out and saggy. If you’re looking for a couch to stick in a guest room and not regularly use, this is stylish and inexpensive, but if you’re looking for something you’re going to use every day, this is not going to hold up well. Also, be advised that if you order it in ivory, the picture it shows is a lot more golden than the actual couch, which looks almost white. ... show more

Very sad to say I had to return this item. The futon itself I really like the way it looked and cleaned up when needed. I like the material and the functionality of the futon. The problem was the framework was very weak and fragile. The part where you screw the legs in was not strong enough. It literally cracked so the foot or whatever you wanna call it would not stand up straight at the base. If I would’ve had somebody that could build a platform I would’ve probably kept it. I truly wish that they would build the framework a little better at least at the base which is where the issue seems to be. We couldn’t even go buy anything to fix it because there was nothing to screw it into. ... show more

For the price, it’s a very cute couch that can double as a not super comfortable fold out bed. We wanted something pink for a retail environment and didn’t have a lot of options. Inside of a year or some of the trim started peeling away and I was able to mend with upholstery staples or glue. Giving it four stars because the company was difficult to deal with when somehow I ordered three on Amazon prime day. I caught it within 10 minutes and they claimed the order had already shipped even though it took three weeks to arrive. It look nice but not for a real Home! It is not the sofa bed or the sofa if you are looking for something comfy, HOMY and comfortable to lay on it and watch tv, or read your book, or work on your laptop while you watch tv .... not this one:-(. However if you want it for a guests room or a room in representation go for it, it is great look quiet uncomfortable but who care for a little time. If it have been easy to sent it back I would have done it!!!! And buy another one even more expensive.HO YES I WOULD HAVE DONE IT RIGHT AWAY! I'm super happy with my couch, I saw some negative reviews about the firmness and I feel like it's just right and the texture and color of the velvet are just delicious. It seems to convert to futon and back really easily so far (2 weeks in) almost too easily, I have a teen who is obsessed with converting it back and forth and it's put up with the constant change really nicely. ... show more
