I bought this to replace an old futon we inherited from our son when he moved away. It's infinitely more comfortable and better looking. It was fairly easy for me to put it together by myself, despite being a little heavy. I needed a futon to use as a couch in our office/media room that could double as an occasional guest bed. I have never been one to fall asleep in my chair or on the sofa, but I've "briefly" laid down on this futon a couple times now and fallen fast asleep. I'm in ❤️ it's amazing so vintage and beautiful Hard as a rock thou 🤣 but I don't care I can still curl up on it with a book and be happy I was worried cuz of the reviews but you know some ppl are gonna complain and not be Happy about anything ! This couch looks pretty, and it was comfortable to sleep on the first few months (futon mode). However past a year, you'll get up with a back pain if you happen to sleep on it. You can feel the structure of the couch on your back when you lay down. I don't recommend this product.

I really like this futon. It was supposed to be velvet but it's more like suede. It's a little hard but I don't have to sleep on it. Good quality and heavy. Looks great in my spare room.

    • Doesn’t hold up under regular use
My couch came on time and took about 45 minutes for two adults to assemble. It was easy and the instructions were clear. The finished product is a firm, attractive, and not at all durable couch. Also, the box it arrived in was damaged, and the couch was dirty in one spot because of it, but it cleaned up fairly well. I’ve had this for a month, and it’s already broken. The wood that supports the reclining mechanisms has broken on one of the back cushions, and the staples holding the fabric in place have come out in the same spot. The seat backs no longer sit up at the same angle because of this. One of the tufting buttons has come loose, and the fabric on the seats is already starting to look stretched out and saggy. If you’re looking for a couch to stick in a guest room and not regularly use, this is stylish and inexpensive, but if you’re looking for something you’re going to use every day, this is not going to hold up well. Also, be advised that if you order it in ivory, the picture it shows is a lot more golden than the actual couch, which looks almost white. ... show more

This futon/couch is beautiful. It is very pretty to look at. It is very hard though! Idk how comfortable it is to sleep on yet. It definitely gives my guest bedroom/office a classy look. I am very happy with the look. It was very easy to assemble and is easy to convert from couch to bed.

When u lye on couch seat its angled so feel like yoi will fall off. Uncomfortable, hard seat and super low to ground. Seat height is around 15”. Its flimsy design, hard to assemble and wonky. Not a good buy
