For an upholstered bed frame that actually holds the mattress in place I was seeing prices that were a couple hundred more but when I saw this one's price I was excited. And I wasn't ever disappointed! The build quality is solid, and it wasn't hell to assemble either! And it came packaged very securely with bags over all the upholstered parts in addition to the much cardboard and styrofoam. Instructions weren't super exacting, basically just pictures but it all worked out with minimal screw-ups so I was pretty happy with that too. Overall a fantastic value. I would dock Amazon a point for the last minute delivery change, but after a reschedule the bed was delivered and securely packaged. Putting it together was super simple. The instructions were pretty clear, but I've put together a lot of furniture. I might not be the greatest judgment on the side of instruction clarity. There were extra screws that was super helpful.     • Paler color than expected but cute
Appearance: The bed style is great, as pictured. But the color is much lighter than I was expecting. Still works for what I wanted. Assembly: I would say it took 2 of us about 2 hours to assemble the whole thing. You have to really snap the slats into their holes but follow the instructions carefully or you'll break them like I did. The other instructions are pretty clear, no power tools needed, all hardware included. You'll want to grab an extra allen wrench to get your friend to help. Sturdiness: eh. It's not the sturdiest piece of furniture I've ever bought but it's still holding up after 1 month. Creaks and wobbles in some places. My main issue with the manufacturing is that some of the parts to not sit flush against each other so they'll always squeak a little bit in certain areas. the box was pretty beat up when it arrived on my doorstep but the frame was perfectly intact, largely because of how well it was packaged! every fabric covered piece was wrapped individually and well secured. I was able to put together the frame alone in about an hour and half. all pieces were included and in good working order. the hardware seemed of good quality and the headboard itself is really pretty. understated but nice fabric, looks of much higher quality than $200 would buy. my only complaint is that a few of the plastic pieces that secure the slats to the frame wouldn't snap into the holes on the frame properly. I have a memory foam mattress on the slats and they seem to be doing just fine for support so far. overall a really good quality frame for the price. it's gorgeous too!bwill update this review in a month or two after a little wear and tear. ... show more

While this review is long overdue, I figure better late than never. And I guess some people would appreciate a long-term retrospective on this bed frame. I've been sleeping on the bed frame for over three years now. And yes, that means its held up for over three years. It even survived one move. But that being said, it's not sturdy at all for bed activities, if you know what I mean. It sways and squeaks incessantly. I've taken it apart a few times, tighten the bolts, even lubricated then with grease. Still noisy. Furthermore the stapling underneath the upholstery pops out, which is dangerous because you can easily cut yourself on it when getting in and out of bed. I find myself having to take a hammer and pounding them back into place. But all that aside, it'll be fine if you don't nothing else in your bed besides sleep. It's also cheap, so it's ideal for a guest bedroom or realtors for staging homes. ... show more

    • Cute, Sturdy, Affordable, but bottom frame can’t be taken out once assembled
We had this bed frame for a year now. We love the brush pink color, which is very romantic for the master bedroom. As some previous reviewers mentioned, the plastic parts that hold the slacks are locked into the metal frame and CAN NOT be taken out easily. Which means if you are planning to move, the plastic holders will break if you forced them out of the metal holes, aka you will not able to reuse this bed frame if you want to move. BUT, I do think you can just move the whole bottom metal frame (with the slacks on), if your doorway is big/long enough to take it out of the door. I saw this bed frame on Macy’s and this company’s official website for more than here at Amazon (I paid $400). So overall, I think this is a good deal. I would still recommend to anyone who is looking for a sturdy and cute bed frame in a affordable price! ... show more

    • We LOVE this bed
We LOVE this bed! I was hesitant to order it as it is so hard to know if furniture ordered online will really be as pictured but this one is great. Our previous upholstered bedframe had an awful support/leg system and the legs were constantly folding in under the bed. This one is so much more sturdy and a much better design. The fabric is an attractive, textured gray and sewn well. Assembly took awhile but the instructions were clearly written and all parts arrived undamaged and packaged pretty well. Overall it looks much more expensive than it was and is a great quality piece. If you are on the fence.. order it! The support slat system alone makes it a winner and the look is very upscale. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, PURCHASE THIS BED. The customer support for the product is a joke. We called to ask for a replacement piece for the wooden slat that broke. They claimed that they couldn’t even verify that it’s their product and so they couldn’t give me a replacement piece. I could buy one wooden slat for $75 and that was my only option. We got the grey color. Definitely has a good mix of tan and grey, but we were expecting that based on the customer photos and reviews. It arrived in two big boxes and took two of us about an hour to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and it was nice to not need any tools beyond the one thing that was already in the box. It’s absolutely gorgeous in person! Unfortunately, one of the bed slats snapped in half the very first time my husband (who is only about 190) got into bed. This makes me pretty nervous for long term, normal use. So now, we’ve got a snapped wooden slat and have to deal with hopefully getting a replacement for it. I’m also considering getting a bunkie board for it instead, but am concerned about the maximum weight on the bed since we have a foam mattress which is already heavier than a spring mattress. We’ve had an IKEA Malm bed for about 4 years with no issues so it was really disappointing to see this happen on the first day. ... show more
