I don't know what bed everyone else got, but this bed is HORRIBLE, like sleeping on a rock. I was looking for a mattress that had good reviews under $300 that was a king 12inch hybrid as both my husband and I are over 200lbs side/belly sleepers. This fit all those requirements so I took a chance . We just moved states and needed a bed. This bed SUCKS he is a truckers when it's just me and our 90lb dog and 10lb cat my hips don't hurt as much but on the nights he is home my back and hips kill me when I wake up. When he sleeps on it his back hurts so bad in the morning he walks hunched over for his first few hours. By the time you wake up there is a massive visible indent where you slept all night, the "improved edge support" is so hard there is no give what so ever so you lean back into the bed if you sit on the edge. Thats between 4-6 inches wide on both sides so I have a foot of mattress i can't even sleep on width wise, we have a king for that extra space because a queen is not enough space for he, I, the dog and cat at night. There is no noise or smell the box was skinny tall and HEAVY but the overall feel is terrible. We have even rotated it after just 1 month and it made no difference. I've contacted Novilla directly because I'm still within the 100 night sleep trial so let's see what happens but you can't exactly roll up a mattress and return it or package it back up and send it back to the store. ... show more

I switched from a memory foam to this hybrid bed. I let it sit for 72 hours before using it, in order to make sure it inflated properly, which it did. Honestly, it still looks a little wonky, but itā€™s very comfortable. Iā€™ve got back issues and have had no problems with my normal stiffness when I wake up in the morning, so waking up pain-free is great! The only negative is that when I sit on the edge of the bed, I can hear and feel the springs shift a little (it makes a sort of popping noise). It wasnā€™t fully expanded in the pictures. But even my husband gave me compliments on choosing a good mattress! I was a bit skeptical to buy a mattress online, but I am so happy I did! Not only is it a pretty mattress but it is so comfortable. Not too soft, not too hard. The corners are softer than the rest of the mattress but you wonā€™t be spending much time sleeping on the corners I donā€™t think. It had no odor even as a new mattress, but I will say be prepared cuz it is heavy! When I make the bed I am definitely working out my arms! So ensure you are either strong enough to handle making the bed on your own or have someone to help! I bought this mattress to replace my 15 year old traditional spring mattress. Very pleased with my purchase. It is comfortable despite being a bit firm for a medium firm rated mattress. Don't have any body aches when waking up in the morning. There was no gassy odor either. The mattress expanded normal. The edge support is good. Overall, so far everything has been great. No complaints. I also really like the fact that this mattress is certified Oeko-Tex and CertiPUR-US. This probably explains why the mattress is odorless.
