Ok, so I’ve been agonizing over mattresses for a long time—I can never find one that leaves me pain-free in the morning. We just ditched our $2500 Beautyrest Black after only four years because the foam broke down and was hurting my back. For reference, I’m 5’6” and 165 lbs, and my husband is 5’7” and 190 lbs. We’re both side sleepers. I tried the Classic DLX mattress in medium, but it was way too firm and ended up hurting my neck, even after trying multiple toppers. It’s a high-quality mattress, but I think that particular model just isn’t ideal for side sleepers. I tried two different latex toppers of varying thickness—still no luck. My husband was ready to kill me with all the mattress swapping and sleeping drama. Then my aunt recommended this Novilla mattress to me. I was hesitant, especially when it arrived in a plain box from Indonesia with no Novilla branding, no user manual, no package opener—nothing. The mattress itself has no branding tag either, just an inner tag that says it’s made for “Sweet Dreams” in Hong Kong. I’ve contacted Novilla with pictures to confirm I didn’t get a knock-off and to make sure I’ll be covered by the warranty and that this is, in fact, made with the safe, non-toxic materials I was looking for. That said, once unboxed, it expanded fully to 12 inches and looked nice and clean. The foam feels dense and firm, but when I lay down, my hips and shoulders do sink in enough to avoid pain, which is a big relief after the last few mattresses. It feels supportive but still pressure-relieving—something I’ve been chasing for ages. Also, it had little to no odor and aired out easily over two days. So far, I’m giving it 4 stars. It seems like a solid mattress and a good fit for side sleepers who like firm support with a bit of give. I’m only docking a star because of the lack of branding and missing accessories—it made me question whether I got the real deal. I’ll update this review once I hear back from the company and get a few more weeks of sleep on it. Ok update - love this mattress, it’s the best mattress I’ve had in a long time. My back pain has gone away, I don’t toss and turn all night. There was barely any off gassing. It was firm initially but softened just enough after sleeping in it for a while. It’s so comfy. You don’t sink in it’s more of a sleep on top of the bed feel but your shoulders and hips sink just enough. The bed is amazing. It has been over a month and we are highly pleased with the mattress. Took less than 48 hours to fully expand. We slept on it with no issues 8 hours after opening it (we moved into a new place and didn’t want to bring our old cali king mattress with us). I train, teach, and compete in mixed martial arts (MMA). So my body is usually sore, especially my back. We purchased the Firm mattress, and even tho a lot of the reviews say it’s “too firm”, it’s definitely not! It’s firm enough for support but you still have that cushion feel that conforms to your body. I was a bit nervous that it was going to be hard, but like I said, it’s not. I sleep all the way through the night, reaching REM. I would sink into my old cali king mattress (soft style) but it would bend my back and I would have to move over to another spot for support. As someone who is rough on their body at 48 years old, I would highly recommend the Firm. We went with the King instead of the cali king this time so we both have room to spread out horizontally. ... show more

I’ve been sleeping on the Novilla 12-Inch Queen Memory Foam Mattress for a few weeks now, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. It’s advertised as medium firm, but I’d say it leans a little more toward medium plush, which actually worked out perfectly for me. It cradles the body nicely without feeling too soft or unsupportive. The pressure relief is noticeable, especially for side sleepers like me — no more waking up with sore hips or shoulders. I also really appreciate the cooling feature; I usually run hot at night, but this mattress helps keep things comfortably cool. I never really leave reviews, but I have to say that I am very impressed with this mattress. I have had the absolute worse lumbar and cervical pain from my previous mattress that I couldn’t take it any longer. I needed a firm mattress to help support my lumbar and I truly wanted a better night sleep. I noticed a big difference on my first night sleeping, it’s firm but doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping on a rock. It truly feels like it was made for me lol. I have no lumbar pain anymore. It’s been a big game changer and the price!! It doesn’t kill the bank. I researched for almost 3 weeks and I’m truly grateful I chose this mattress. I bought the 14in because I was scared the 12in wouldn’t actually be 12in but the 14in is high and 100% 14in. I would highly recommend this mattress.
