My wife and I were previously sleeping on a more 'popular' mattress brand that was triple the price. It was not a very nice mattress. It sagged on the edges, slept very hot, was very soft, and overall a disappointment. So, I have to say I was kind of excited to try something new, and having had great luck years ago with a "cheap" mattress, I was intent on not wasting money again. Novilla had consistently good reviews, not just on Amazon, but elsewhere (always check elsewhere for a purchase like this), and I was excited to try out a Hybrid style mattress. Well, I am not disappointed with this decision. This mattress is nice and flat. It has much more support. It is a bit more on the "bouncy" side. I can sleep on my side without pain. It sleeps cooler. It's literally better in every way imaginable, despite being a third of the cost. It turns out, there are some items where you DON'T pay for what you get. I have no idea how Novilla is making money at the price I paid when you factor in shipping costs, but I am not complaining. Overall, this is a genuinely great mattress for an incredible value.

Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. Excellent value and a comfortable bed that's firmer than the all foam mattress I was using earlier. My only issue is that in the beginning I noticed almost no motion transfer with my wife, but after several weeks, that seems to have changed. Not sure what that means in terms of the quality of the mattress, overall I'm still happy, just would be happier if it had less motion transfer.

I’ve only had this mattress for a week, so I can’t comment on how well it holds up over time. HOWEVER, I am LOVING it so far. I searched online for days, for different mattresses, and couldn’t decide. My husband and I went to a local store, and laid on a few diff brands and styles, and I knew right then, that a hybrid is what i was looking for. I just couldn’t afford to pay their price, of over $700. So I got busy researching “hybrid mattresses” and kept seeing this brand. After reading reviews, i went with this one, and it has been great. Best sleep I have gotten in years, and that’s snuggled up next to an 18 month old, who wakes up to nurse still, multiple times a night. My husband had it unpacked and set up pretty quickly, and it was pretty expanded within the day. If you’re on the fence, buy it. You won’t regret it.

I bought this to replace one side of a Tempur-pedic split cal king that was too soft for me. Although a split cal king is supposed to be comprised of two twin-XL mattresses of 38"x80" dimensions, the Tempur-pedic I was relacing was actually just short of 82". The Novilla was only 79". That left a 2" gap when I placed it upon the Tempur-pedic foundation. That gap allows the mattress to shift slightly during the night. The firmness and comfort are fine so this is just a slight inconvenience for which I am searching a solution.

Box arrived in good condition. Mattress was wrapped and completely protected. Sprung open and within a few hours looked like a mattress. Mattress fabric is soft and feels like a perfect medium firm.
