I would say it's a medium firmness. It's a great size and thickness. It didn't say anything about cooling but I don't find myself getting hot. I really like there aren't springs. Overall it's a very good mattress.

I unboxed the mattress and removed the vacuum pack. It took about 6 hours to completely get expanded to correct size. It is firm and comfortable. You can really get a good night's sleep. It is worth the price.
