I have been suffering from lower back pain for years. To the point, it interfered with my daily living. I was in agony. I tried everything to relieve the pain. But I started noticing the pain was worse when I woke up. So I figured it was the bed. So I leaped and bought this new one. It said to wait for 24hrs to expand fully. But honestly, it took just several hours. When I woke up the next morning, I could NOT BELIEVE I HAD NOOOOOOO PAIN. I didn’t even believe it. ALL day I kept stretching, bending, turning, trying to find the pain, and NOTHING. I am SOOOOO HAPPY. And the price is just excellent for the quality of sleep I got. I 100% recommend this bed, especially for anyone with back pain. I’ve typically preferred firmer mattresses because of the back support. My first experience with memory foam was an expensive bamboo one I got with my ex several years ago. I remember it feeling hot after a few hours, enveloping me too much. It was one of those weird things where it feels good at the store, but you get home and are like, no… lol. I never wanted memory foam after that – it seemed like an overrated fad that was probably cheaper for manufacturers to produce. But I later moved into a furnished flat with a Costco memory foam mattress. I adjusted pretty quickly to it and never had that annoying warm feeling (maybe that came from the ex, who knows). I still didn’t like that sitting up in bed with a book or project wasn't super convenient. Fast forward to this mattress. I bought it for my new place and am pleasantly satisfied. It was firmer than expected but still has that contouring-the-hips feeling of the memory foam I like. Looking back, I probably would have paid a little extra for the 12-inch. I’ve been sleeping on it for a week. First thoughts are it’s a great mattress for the price. It came quickly and unboxing it was easy. It took only about 2 hours for it to get to it’s full 12 inches. I waited 24 hours before sleeping on it the first time. After the first night, the first thing I noticed was it’s firmer Then I expected for a full memory foam mattress. I am 6’2” and 245 lbs and I hardly sink in at all. Just a bit more than a conventional mattress. The second thing is it retains a fair amount of heat. I’ma warm sleeper anyways, but I needed just a sheet and a very thin blanket to keep warm, even in the cold in northern Wisconsin. It’ll be interesting to see how I fare this summer. All in all, I’m very happy with it. As a side sleeper, I find it very easy to fall asleep and it supports me well. I wake up with no shoulder pain that my old mattress used to give me every morning. I also don’t wake up as much to roll over and reposition in the night. I fall asleep quickly and sleep sound. If you’re on the fence about buying it, go for it. It won’t let you down. ... show more

We got this mattress for our daughter’s room. We are remodeling her room from her a little girl room to a teenager room. This mattress was delivered fast… was easy to unbox and is very comfortable It’s not too soft, but just soft enough if you know what I mean… she said she really likes it because she sleeps on her belly and it’s more comfortable on her ribs when she does. I noticed when laying on it that it definitely contours your body and supports it well! It came with a little opener to help you easily open the package and it fluffed up to a 12 inch thickness very quickly and without any of that weird chemically smell that some mattresses have. My daughter tends to be hotter by nature this mattress does keep her cool at night. She said she has not woke up sweating since she got it. I've been in need of a new mattress for a few years, but I've been hesitant to order one or buy one online or in person. It seems like you don't know if it's right for you until you actually sleep on it. I did some research, found this Novilla mattress and decided to give it a try. The price is good and I really need a new one. The mattress soon arrived in a long box with the mattress rolled up inside. I'm not sure if it will enlarge after being taken out of the box, but we put the box on our frame, cut the box open and roll the mattress out. Be aware that the box is very heavy and you will need at least two people to lift it and open it. Then we unrolled the mattress (still vacuum packed) and when we had it in place, we cut the plastic with the accompanying packing knife. The mattress immediately began to swell to size. It's amazing. I waited a few days for it to grow to the right size. I slept on it that night and it was super comfortable. It's not too hard or too soft, just right. It seemed to give me more support where I needed it. I slept well; Better mattress top than I've had in years makes this mattress look like a luxury mattress. I would definitely recommend this mattress to anyone looking for a good night's sleep! Two people found it helpful ... show more

This is an amazing mattress!!! We were surprised at the top side with design! Seller give me the opener.
