I was trained in a salon that used these mantles and got used to how handy they are when cutting A-line bobs and similar styles that you may need to cut the hair against the skin. I purchases this for my son's barber because my son is really sensitive and has a hard time tolerating the feel of cut hair on the back of his neck or falling down his shirt. Since she's started using this, it has alleviated all of his complaints He no longer has to bring another shirt to change into after haircuts and this collar has prevented any hair from getting on his neck. I left the collar with her so she could use it with other clients and she says it has come in really handy with her younger clients. Several of the others barbers asked for the link in order to purchase one of these collars for themselves, they were all very impressed by it.
