I can't even count how many heads of hair have been cut with them. :) I was cutting my bangs last month and suddenly they just collapsed in my hand, the screw broke off, and they fell to pieces. I tried to repair them. Couldn't. So I was thrilled to find a new pair at such a great price. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size. I thought my old ones were 3.5, but they must have been 4.5. I’m not a hair stylist, but I’ve now bought these twice. I bought the first pair for myself when I started getting into wigs and used the scissors for restyling or shortening the wigs. But my mom used them one day to cut mine and my grandmas hair. I ordered a pair that day and had them shipped to her because she liked them. She also used her own for my stepdad right after she received them and was telling me she loved them. I like that they have the finger grips inside the scissors’ holes for comfort. So far seem to be holding up well for trims.

These are a good pair of hair scissors particularly if you are left handed and use your right to cut with (like me) or are ambidextrous, they work easily in either hand, very comfortable. They had a very strong oily smell upon opening but that faded quickly. They come extremely sharp so definitely mind where you keep them if you have kids and or pets. I trim my hair and bangs myself quite a bit and these have delivered very well.
