I was shopping around for some extra storage and came across this shelf. Most of the ones I kept finding were only five tiers, and I really wanted something with an extra shelf. This one checked that box perfectly, and the price was about the same if not better than the five tier options I was comparing. Setup was pretty easy overall. All of the hardware is included and it even comes with tools, which is nice. I personally used my own tools since I find that easier, but it is convenient that everything you need is provided. I will admit I got a little ahead of myself and assembled one piece backwards because I did not fully look at the instructions at first. Once I actually followed the instructions and looked at the images, everything made sense and went together smoothly. The build process felt very intuitive. The storage capacity is great. It holds a good amount of items without feeling cramped, and the shelves feel solid and well supported. Overall the shelf feels very sturdy and well made. I also appreciate that it comes with wall anchors to help keep it upright and prevent tipping over. The finish looks really nice and it fits perfectly in my space. I am really happy with how it looks in my home and how much it holds.

The bookshelf is very good quality with great finishes . It was a breeze to assembly and once everything is tightened up , seems sturdy enough to be able to handle anything you might want to store on it . The shelves themselves are thick enough and with a great looking and quality finish . The reinforcing ties that go into the back add to the stability and also improve the looks of it . We looked at several shelves but chose this one mainly for it's look , flexibility on making smaller or bigger spaces (by removing shelves ) and mainly because the top has nothing on the laterals protruding so this makes it easier to store big items on top of them without being held back . It sits really well on flat surfaces , was no need to affix it on the wall . We liked them so much that we ended up getting another one . Nothing to complain about , great quality for the money if you need something sturdy and good looking . Recommended !

Ordered. Eleven of these, came well wrapped and protected in cardboard and polystyrene. Instructions are clear and assembly took about 30 minutes per unit. The assembled unit is robust, the shelves are attractive with a convincing looking wood grain finish. I have a lot of books , some oversized and really heavy, those I place on the bottom shelf which is supported on all four sides by the metal frame otherwise the shelves visibly bow.

The finished product is great. But putting it together was a struggle. Diagrams are too small for needed detail. I had to take things apart time and again - when I saw that I had missed some detail. It was flying by the seat of my pants most of the time. I'm sure one of my sons could have put it together, no problem. But they are in construction. And know how things fit together. As for directions - - I wouldn't even call them that. Pretty poor instructions. I just had to think how the final product was supposed to look. I would recommend this product, as it looks nice and is sturdy once the braces are put on. But getting there was a trial!

I was short four screws for the top shelf. However, the good points include: The instructions are fine. Look at the pictures and do that. Every screw and part fit together without any issues. I assembled it alone. Shelving doesn’t look fake, just nice with a pretty woodgrain. The only negative is that they will not hold up well if you put 75 pounds on them! I got this item for my closet makeover to store my shoes, in boxes, on. It is decorative and a few books interspersed would look nice and hold up well for any room decor. Anchored to a wall this unit is plenty stable. It isn’t wobbly or crooked. I have to say, it is prettier in person than the ad image.

I needed extra shelf storage in my kitchen. I’m a senior and was concerned about being able to assemble it. The package is heavy—may need to have help getting it into the house. Construction was excellent as the holes, screws and slots matched up perfectly. I didn’t use a drill to assemble but, depended upon a simple Phillips screwdriver. Pictures for assembling were easy to follow, but check assembly pictures carefully before starting. All parts were included-with one or two extra. It should be self explanatory. Very impressed with this product! Would purchase this product again if needed.

I have an office nook in the living area of my one bedroom loft and use the area as well as a photography studio. I wanted shelves to hold most of the office materials and the smaller photography apparatuses. This works well. BACKGROUND: I'm a 78 year old disabled man who doesn't see well and I have almost no carpentry skills. So when I read from some reviewers that the shelves might be a two person assembly, I was concerned. But I liked everything else about it and ordered anyway. I'm glad I did. It wasn't the easiest assembly I've experienced, but all the materials were packed and labeled. The directions were clear and simple. I had a power drill available and used it a bit, but I really didn't need it. Assembly took me longer than it would someone more adept, but I was pleased with the job when I'd finished. STURDY: It doesn't shake or shimmy or wiggle. No jokes, please. If it weren't for a very inquisitive cat, I would put heavy glassware on the top shelf. It's that good. I'm glad I bought the shelves, would recommend them to friends, and might very likely buy them again.
