Not expecting the nasty chemical smell. Read reviews, some said no smell, mine did.. Let it stay in the tank for a week with carbon cartridge in filter, the smell decreased some but water tested neg for ammonia so added my fish and they did fine. The smell did abate after a few weeks to where I can’t notice it anymore! Love the look of them in the 9 gallon tank they are in. ... show more
