  • The best PETG I have used so far!
Color: Black 2pack
This blend has been exceptional, very easy printing with very good bed adhesion. It has very good layer adhesion, and is quite a bit more "tough" than "brittle", since it tends to bend rather than snap. It sands more easily than other PETG blends do, and CA glue seems to adhere better, but I have not tested this with any accuracy. I forgot to turn supports on during one print, and had never tested bridging on my printer, but this PETG bridged a one inch gap with very little droop. This blend shrinks less than others, allowing me to print mechanical parts with far better initial fits, and fewer revisions. It's only negative is that the "black" PETG isn't really black, but a very dark, almost black "reddish" tone that shows through when a print is polished to a shine. ... show more

  • It's ok. Didn't receive cleaning filament though
Color: Red
First print was a calibration cube and came out perfect and the color looked amazing. Printed a couple other things and it was super stringy, no biggie just tweaked the settings to fix it. Now that I got minimal stringing, the layers are inconsistent, like some layers will have that great looking translucent red, and others will be pale and opaque. I can't find a happy medium but I kinda expected a bit of a fight with such cheap filament. Also didn't receive the cleaning filament that was stated in one of the pictures and again farther down the page Update: I think I've figured out the settings to get the prints nearly perfect. Just takes a LOT of trial and error of messing with temps, print speed, fan speed, etc. ... show more

  • Filament Cascading Disaster
Color: Grey
I bought a roll of your PETG grey Filament toward the end of last year (2022). And have had nothing but problems This filament was wet, runny, and stringy right out of the packaging. The filament popped from expanding water vapor coming out of the nozzle when I first tried printing with it. When at the reccomended on the box Temperature it would continue to expand on it own and run out of the nozzle (runny). This issue caused it to contact and cling to other parts creating stringing problems. So I put it in a dryer box for a while, until the humidity stayed at about 15%. When I got back to printing with it, it remained stringy and runny. This caught up on my block and ruined some prints. In trying to clean my block, I eventually broke the wires to my heater and because I could not heat my block to remove the parts that were fused with melted burnt plastic, I had to replace my hot end. My ruby tipped nozzle is still stuck in the block. Ordered new hot end parts, installed new hot end parts, and went back to trying to print with this filament. This filament continued to show the same qualities (stringy and runny) as previously noted, but because I was trying to print a precise model I noticed a few other things. This filament would over extrude, meaning dimensionally it was not the 1.75 +/- 0.002 i was expecting. It also had soft spots that my drive gears would chew through and not retract or drive more filament into the hot end. And I cannot stay up for the entire 17 hour print to listen for the little click that tells of a drive problem. This morning my intention was to clean up the parts from supports and skirts ( that I need to get the small parts to stick ) and assemble this model. That is when I found out It does bond really well to supports, just like bonds to the previous layer. Meaning I have to carve the surface I need out of that. Looking over these parts, that took the better part of 2 weeks to print. i do not have a single usable part that I can clean up and use, in less time than it would take me to print another one. (with good dependable filament) So it is all in the garbage now, printed parts and the rest of the roll. Looking at my new heat block that is now covered in a burnt mess of plastic, I tried cleaning it. Meaning heating it up, to soften the plastic and gently brushing and/or scraping it off the components... Worked well until I got near the heater. and sparks.... So now I have another dead heater. Meaning another Hot end replacement. I got my new diamond tipped nozzle out, of the heat block and it has burnt plastic all up the threads into the block, despite torqing it to the reccomended torque of the nozzle manufacturer, I believe this plastic still seeped out between my brand new nozzle and brand new heat break, to leak down onto my prints. I will quit 3d printing before I buy another roll of this filament. For a 35 dollar roll of bad filament, I am now looking at a loss of over 200 dollars on parts. Buyer beware. ... show more

  • PETG Black Filament 1.75mm
Color: Black
Just as advertised, great price and seems to hold up well after builds.

  • Really good PETG filament, except for the color
Color: Black
Good printing characteristics with a smoother than usual finish for PETG. Appears to be well dried upon opening the package. Neat winding on spool. Very little stringing and they come off easily when rubbed with fingers. Supports come off easily with .2 distance. There is a slight odor present when printing with this one. It looks black until you shine a strong LED light on it. Then it kinda looks like Black Cherry. I printed a picatinny rail and there seems to be about a 3% shrinkage on the width when printing at 223C. The color bugs me a little but I would buy it again. ... show more

  • Not exactly what I expected
Color: Red
I knew the color would be somewhat clear, but it was very obvious on some of the prints we tried. The best thing we printed were some arrow bookmarks for kids classes, all the other prints were trash.

  • The Better PLA
Color: White
I'll keep it short, this is the better PLA. Print this stuff with a .8mm nozzle and the higher end of the temperature reccomendation and you will get some seriously strong parts. I used this stuff to print a fender for a Onewheel and I have dropped that board 6 feet from a ramp going over 5mph onto concrete and the fender printed from this material was the first part to make impact and it didn't even leave a mark! Seriously this stuff is so cheap and can be used for end-use products with how strong it is. No it is not carbon fiber nylon so don't expect to make tools out of this but it definetely is strong enough for many cases. Best of all the layer adhesion on this is miles above PLA and thus the strength is much more uniform. In the end if you are looking for a cheap and easy to print material this stuff is a solid choice. ... show more
