Beautiful lamps (a little more blue-hued than I expected, but they will work). Question—Both lamps I purchased have this (seemingly cardboard) space in the middle of the socket and I can’t remove it. I purchased the grey lamp with “grey” shade. The lamp is pretty and seems substantial for the price. However, the shade that comes with it is definitely more green than grey. It does not blend with my decor. I don’t like the lamp well enough to search for a new shade.

I love the lamp itself, HOWEVER, my 2 complaints are- 1) I really would've preferred it in black, but only the gray was on sale at a much more reasonable price, so I settled for gray. And 2) The lamp shade is gray, too...which is odd. No one wants a gray lamp with a gray shade. That is too much gray. It needs to come with a white shade, like the black lamp would. It's too much hassle to disassemble and repackage to return, unfortunately. But I'm going to have to spend more money on getting a white lamp shade now, which are not cheap either. The lamp itself though is of good quality and well made. I just wish the sale would've been on the black ones too, or at the very least, came with a white shade. ... show more

Bought two of these lamps for our bedroom. Very pleased with them. Couldn't bite the bullet for the 300.00+ lamps from pottery barn. These have no defects, are not damaged, the shades do not tilt. They are light so I'm not worried about them falling and hurting one of our kiddos. Great lamps!
