This massage chair is awesome!! It is kinda narrow in the hips though. I can fit it great and my husband can too but our son who is 6+ feet tall and 225, has a tough time with the side massagers. That said the massage is really good and the rollers go all the way under your bottom so if you have tight glutes it will help to relax them too. All in all I am thrilled with it!! 5-18-22 UPDATE WOW!! This chair is SOLID built! Many people have used my chair from a small framed person to 250+lbs and it is still going strong. The material is Quality, easy to clean if it get something on it and it still looks new!! I got the ash gray color and it doesn’t show any wear. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this chair 2 years in!! My only complaint is that it only swivels 90 degrees and 180 would be much nicer but most massage chairs don’t swivel at all so I can’t really complain!😃

I have never written a review before but I have had this product for two weeks and I am completely satisfied with it. I am 5‘11“ with short legs and a long torso so I do have to move a bit to get the most out of the massage but overall the product seems incredibly well-made and does an amazing job. The only con I could find was the tilt tension does not lock tight enough and you have a tendency to tilt backward in the chair when you don’t want to sometimes. For a product I bought sight unseen from a TV ad I could not be happier.Expensive, bit worth every penny.

Although the chair is certainly more attractive than most massage chairs, I have to say that it isn't particularly comfortable to simply sit in, as the massaging mechanism 'parks' in a rather uncomfortable position. The mechanics of the chair don't recess out of the way, and pokes uncomfortably out at you. Further, unless a deep tissue massage is your thing, you may want to look elsewhere, as this thing is aggressive, bordering on uncomfortable, especially in the upper back area. Despite the claim that the chair is made of full grain leather, I would dispute that, at least in my instance. The seating area and armrests appear to be vinyl, and the back area is a cloth material. The chair is also small. If space is a concern, the chair would almost fit anywhere, however if you are large in stature, this chair is going to be a challenge, as it is tight in the hips and shoulders, and sits low. Given the price of the chair, I feel that it lacks in a number of ways. I don't return an awful lot of items, but sadly, this may be one of them...

The chair certainly looks nicer than most massage chairs but it’s just not the greatest massage. There isn’t enough intuitive control so it takes a lot of start and stop or the rollers to hit the right spots and it just is a big miss on the neck too. I’m 6’ and not a huge guy, but I have to hunch down in the seat if I want to get my neck and shoulders. Maybe for people a bit shorter it would be ok but for me it’s just meh.

Is the massage quality as good as it gets? No. But it's pretty good. For those who have experienced various massage chairs before? It's comparable. For those who haven't? They're probably a lot better than you expect. For me, this one does a good job with your back and glutes. It's just okay for shoulders and doesn't cover lower legs at all. But that ought to be pretty obvious at a glance...a glance that will also immediately tell you that this chair looks very different than most massage chairs. Is it as good as it gets in terms of looks? No. Not compared to non-massage chairs. But compared to other massage chairs? Yes. At a glance, it fits right into any living room that already has nice-looking furniture. It would fit right into any room with an Ekornes Stressless recliner or various mid-century pieces. On the whole? For what it is? It's about as good as it gets, imho. If you want to maximize design or massage, prioritizing one while completely forgoing the other? It's not for you. But if you want the nicest blend I'm aware of on the market right now? This is probably it. IMPORTANT TIP: If you buy one? Setup is easy but there's something extremely important that the manual doesn't make clear. When plugging in the remote, it *must* be properly aligned, with what they call a "tooth" (it really looks more like a tiny dot) fitting exactly into the associated slot on the chair-side. It will "plug in" without being aligned...but it won't turn on and you'll be thinking, oh wow, why did I buy something so heavy and difficult to repackage and return! Just unplug it and plug it back in w/ the "tooth" properly aligned, and you'll be good to go.
