I have used Neutrogena clarifying shampoo in the past. They don't seem to make it anymore. I was hoping this shampoo would replace it, but it is on the subpar level.

My hairdresser told me that I had residue in my hair from hairspray. She recommended a clarifying shampoo and I purchased this. It does seem to work well. I use it once a week rotating with my regular shampoo. She hasn’t mentioned the residue again.

This is not useful for dandruff. I was looking for a good shampoo that would help my dandruff. Instead it makes my scalp feel very oily and it did absolutely nothing for my dandruff

I used the Neutrogena anti-residue stuff forever but it seems to be off the market, so I was looking for another clarifying shampoo. This is better! My hair feels great.

I use this but it doesn't really seem to clarify. I clarify with other products and this was cheap and saw a video and I ordered it and it is not great. It leaves my hair rough and still feels coated. My hair usually feels soft again after the build up is gone.

It cleans my scalp well but I end un using a lot of product, doesn’t have much of a scent and it doesn’t stripe my hair too much for a clarifying shampoo . The product has a weird, goopy consistency that looks very similar to slime or snot :(. Which means that the person using this would have to emulsify the shampoo before applying it to their scalp if they don’t want to use even more product (you should be doing that with all of your shampoos but with this one if you don’t emulsify it first, it will be very difficult to apply it to the scalp). Would not repurchase.
