While shopping for shampoo & conditioner, i thought maybe try something new & healthier to the hair. Apon using it the first time i realized for very thick hair you have to use alot of shampoo… even on my daughters hair i have to use a handful. neither of us have curly hair, just light wavy thick hair ( as a 3 1/2 old her hair is not as thick as mine) i always shampoo, then apply conditioner, brush it through. & rinsing the conditoner is the last part of my shower. & ive realized that this product leaves my hair very oily/greasy, even when overly rinsed. when dry my hair feels like theres a product on it and there is not. same happens with my daughter. we naturally do not have a oily hair type. im glad to see it worked for others.. i was so excited about using this product, just disappointed it didnt work for us. defintiley has a fantastic smell!! ... show more

I've been using this brand for over 5 years, since I started my curly girl journey. I use this particular one during spring and summer, then the green one during fall and winter. Each kind provides different levels if moisture. I've also used the purple one and the pink. Cleanses well and leaves my hair soft and shiny. I’m currently working on improving my curly hair care, and was searching for an affordable shampoo/conditioner combo that would provide a good amount of moisture. I found this product through an online article that suggested it for being moisturizing, and decided to try it out. I don’t think that this product has provided as much moisture as I was hoping for, but it’s not bad. My hair does curl nicely after using this product. As someone with thick, wavy hair that is often dry + frizzy, the high moisture products has been a god send. They smell so amazing and leave my hair feeling great; free of any nasty chemicals. They last me about a month or so I would say. I love this brand!

    • Great smell when showering but is very light once hair is dry.
Cleaned my hair really well. When using the conditioner, don’t leave on for a long time. I typically leave conditioner on while I wash and take care of other areas and then rinse off conditioner when I’m ready to get out of the shower. In doing that I find it helps my hair really absorb the conditioner benefits. With this particular conditioner, I did the same thing, and afterwards my hair felt like it had a load of product in it and was difficult to brush. Wasn’t smooth and tangled easily when dry. This is by far the worst product I’ve ever put in my hair. Does not help with knots or tangles at all and leaves a very greasy residue in your hair. I have to rewatch my hair with another shampoo/conditioner to get the nasty feeling this one leaves behind out of my hair. Doesn’t smell pleasant or feel pleasant. Do not recommend. ... show more
