This is my favorite line for my curly hair! I also use their curl defining cream. The scent is subtle. It leaves your hair soft and not frizzy. I love it more than the more expensive brands.

    • Does the job but too perfumey for my sensitive nose
I was hoping to find something with a light scent that would moisturize my hair without causing oily hair and buildup. Literally the only thing I’m not a fan of is how strong it smells. It’s a bit over-kill and reminds me of old lady perfumes. I’m not sure why so many hair care products need to be heavily scented. We want to smell like we walked through a field of flowers, not bathed in a bathtub of perfume. I’m not into wasting product so I’ll continue using until it’s gone because it does moisturize my wavy hair without weighing it down. It feels more natural. No frizz outs or heaviness. Like a nice even balance. Not sure I’ll purchase again though. If you don’t mind stronger smells, then it might be for you. this shampoo and conditioner has made my life so much easier. it helps keep my hair curly without stripping it, so that my hair doesn’t feel dry later on. Specifically the conditioner works really well with detangling routine.

I don’t really have complaints about the shampoo. It left my hair feeling a bit more dry than other shampoos but not awful. The conditioner was far too light for me. I used the same amount I normally use for conditioner and brushed it through my hair but it still never felt fully hydrated. I really love Not Your Mothers products so I was sad to have to mark this one at 3 stars. ... show more

I have fine hair with 3a curls. Been using this for a week (3 washes) after another brand left my hair heavy and greasy. Absolutely LOVE how my curls are looking!
