I was hoping to find something with a light scent that would moisturize my hair without causing oily hair and buildup. Literally the only thing I’m not a fan of is how strong it smells. It’s a bit over-kill and reminds me of old lady perfumes. I’m not sure why so many hair care products need to be heavily scented. We want to smell like we walked through a field of flowers, not bathed in a bathtub of perfume. I’m not into wasting product so I’ll continue using until it’s gone because it does moisturize my wavy hair without weighing it down. It feels more natural. No frizz outs or heaviness. Like a nice even balance. Not sure I’ll purchase again though. If you don’t mind stronger smells, then it might be for you. For reference I am in my 40’s and my hair is a bit thinner than it used to be and I have naturally wavy hair. ... show more

This is my favorite line for my curly hair! I also use their curl defining cream. The scent is subtle. It leaves your hair soft and not frizzy. I love it more than the more expensive brands.

    • TLDR: feels like a clarifier, conditioner is thin, makes curls look great
I don’t love these products, I don’t hate them by any means, they’re just ok. The results are awesome, my hair curls a lot better than any other shampoo/conditioner I’ve used and they look amazing. My one gripe with this is the shampoo. After using it my hair feels gritty (I have no clue how else to describe it), kind of like how it feels to use a clarifier. The conditioner is a little thin so I had to use quite a bit of it and it didn’t feel extremely moisturizing. I used to use the Camille Rose coconut shampoo and conditioner which are both thicker and left my hair feeling smooth, so I’m just basing the difference on that. Overall I like how it makes my hair look after it dries, but if you're looking for something that feels a bit higher quality I would say try Camille Rose. ... show more

This is the only shampoo and conditioner I use for my curly hair. It works great, no more dryness and no more tangles and you only need to use a little bit of each. The price is excellent compared to Salon products
