Needed a small compact microwave, the vintage look was a plus. Fits a large 12/14" plate and we don't microwave much expect for a few small items. There's a funky lock it comes with, just have to by pass it if you want to remove that feature.

Being brand new, it obviously works great, I hope it lasts! It's a perfect size, holds a dinner plate just right. It's really cute too. I'm a little disappointed that when you pull the handle, the whole microwave moves because it's lightweight, but I wanted a handle much more than than the push button openers so I'll live with it. Nothing to it. Took it out of the box and plugged it in. Didn't have to figure out how to set the clock - it knew what time it was. I don't have a lot of counter space so this was the perfect size. And although most recipes call for 1000 watts microwave, there was no problem googling for a 1000 to 900 watt microwave conversion. Love It! And thank you Amazon for quick delivery. ... show more

We are really enjoying this microwave. Our over stove built in failed on New Year’s Eve. I ordered this red countertop microwave to hold us over until I could have a new one installed. I figured if it wasn’t going to take up counter space, it ought to enhance the look of the kitchen. The family loves it and wants a red over stove microwave now. It is less noisy than our other microwave so I’m not sure what the other reviewers consider too noisy or loud. My main issue is that is has a lower wattage than we are accustomed to so it takes longer to heat up our food. Also, it scratches easily so be gentle with it. So far so good as we have had it a month and it gets used several times a day by our large household. Edited to add: It’s been a year, and we are still happy with our purchase. This is an awesome “looking” microwave. Exactly what I wanted. It IS however a totally useless small appliance! It sounds like a bucket of bolts when you turn it on. It has a 30 second button, but no matter which button you push it only stays on for 30 seconds. After setting the clock, it resets itself or shuts itself off completely. This is an excellent example of ‘Do she shine, yup. Do she run, nope!” Absolutely total waste of money. I strongly suggest buying a different microwave. Too bad, it really is a great looking microwave. 😠 ... show more
