  • Remember to preheat~~
Style: Hot-Air Aqua
It’s a good popcorn machine, great design, not as loud as my previous one. Just need to preheat 3 mins before put kernels in. Without preheating, it takes longer, might cause kernels burn. So far, I have used 10+ times, everything is good.

  • Happy Popcorn
Style: Hot-Air Aqua
Extremely happy about this buy! It pops well and isn't messy. Best Buy! Popcorn always turns out warm and large. Yes, sometimes kernels can spit out but just put them back in the machine and it will re-pop them.

  • Cute but poorly designed
Style: Hot-Air Aqua
I got this despite the bad reviews because it's so cute, and I thought, how hard can it be to make a functioning air popper in 2023? Apparently, it's not easy. The way it works is probably the same as other air poppers - the kernels go into a well that is heated and rotated, with hot air blowing, so that when the kernels pop, the air blows it up and out. But the top part of this machine is too small, and maybe the air flow is too strong, so as the kernels start to pop, the popped corn as well as a lot of the unpopped kernels get blown out of the machine and go flying everywhere. Often, some very hot kernels get blown out of the machine, maybe into the bowl, and then pop, kicking out 4 or 5 pieces. I've really tried to get this machine to work, using receiving bowls of different heights, using different amounts of kernels, etc. I can only manage to get about 1/3 of the kernels to pop at any one time. And popped and unpopped corn go flying everywhere. Maybe if the top part of the machine was bigger, it would hold in the popped corn a bit longer, keeping the unpopped kernels down until they pop, etc. ... show more

  • Beautiful and amazing IF USED CORRECTLY
Style: Hot-Air Aqua
UPDATED 5/12 - TLDR: if you want an easy air popper that is not at all finicky, get the Presto Pop lite popper (my bf has that one). If you want a super cute appliance and you're willing to do a few extra steps to get perfect popcorn, get this one. I have used my new popper 10 times now to perfect the popcorn making process - please follow the steps below! TIPS FOR MAKING THE BEST POPCORN: 1) Orville Redenbacher popcorn kernels (You'll get fluffy big popcorn) 2) Pre-heat the chamber for 2-3 minutes before you put the kernels in! (This will SIGNIFICANTLY decrease the amount of unpopped kernels that come out) 3) DO NOT fill the chamber with more than what the instructions say!!! The measuring cap has a line on the inside that shows you the max fill. If you put more kernels in that you're supposed to, you'll end up with a bunch of burned popcorn kernels because there is not enough air circulating inside the chamber. _______________________ UPDATED 4/21 - The second time I used this, it started emitting smoke and filled the kitchen with the smell of burned plastic. :( Hopefully this was just a defective unit. I just submitted for an exchange, so I will update this review once I receive the new unit. _______________________ Honestly, I chose this over the other air poppers on here because of its looks. Yes, I am very shallow when it comes to my kitchen appliances. It's even cuter in person! But...it arrived dirty, which is weird because it was packaged in a sealed box that had a "tamper proof" sticker on it. It had these brown water marks on the front, and the top of the unit had black scuff marks. ( - 1 star ) I am lazy and hate returning things, so I decided to just clean it and take it for a spin. Lo and behold, it made the most delicious popcorn, all the while looking beautiful on my countertop. ( + 4 stars ) ... show more

  • Lots of Unpopped kernels
Style: Hot-Air Aqua
This product claimed to create fewer unpopped kernels with its "vortex" air design. Sadly, this is not the case -- in fact the opposite is true. This popper spits out a TON of unpopped kernels when the popping first starts. Not only are they thrown in multiple directions instead of the intended one and into the bowl, many of the unpopped kernels are close the popping, and pop INSIDE the bowl, sending kernels and popcorn flying in all directions. Roughly HALF of the kernels put into the machine are tossed out, and bear in mind that I use far less kernels than the capacity of the scoop, so using the intended amount would create and even larger mess. If you buy this, use a large bag to catch the kernels and popcorn, or else you will have to sweep up a significant portion off the floor. I gave it an extra star because it looks cute, actually functions and is easy to clean. ... show more

  • Love this popcorn 🍿 machine !
Style: Hot-Air Aqua
Love this popcorn machine! It matches my kitchen decor (love the retro) and pops the popcorn very well. Reading the reviews, I was a bit Skeptical and this is my 3rd time using it but for me, it’s working great. I do believe it’s important to follow the instructions to a tee (make sure not to over flow with the kettles & pre heat). ... show more
