I chose this machine because it had excellent reviews, and it looked amazing! Unfortunately after using it a few times I decided to return it. The few times I used it, I had a large amount of unpopped kernels (I know this is inevitable with air poppers, but I’m talking like A LOT of unpopped kernels). Additionally, hot kernels would go into the bowl, and then pop in the bowl which threw popcorn everywhere. Also when it was popping, kernels would shoot out with the popcorn and make a huge mess. This machine gets very hot and Cooks all the popcorn quickly and effortlessly. Sometimes even violently. It can throw the popcorn across the room so I now face it towards the backslash on the counter. I got the tall reusable popcorn buckets which I think are necessary to a reach the outspout of the popper. Unpop kernels get pushed out and into the bucket which I just had back and pop. ... show more

This is not the best air popper. It pops a smaller amount of popcorn and leaves lots of kernels. I bought this first, returned it, and then got a Presto air popper. The Presto one works excellent and leaves very few kernels.

If I didn't miss the return window I would of sent this back. I missed it by 2 days. The on and off switch operates hard too much pressure is required to turn it on or off without holding on to unit and it will pop off when hot. Turning it on is fine that way but when it's hot It can be a mess. The bottom of it doesn't have the heat/fan blow up through the kernels it has a fan on sides which makes it take longer to pop. It's quite loud and all in all I don't recommend it. The popcorn is fine tasting. It's cool to look at just not practical or easy to use. ... show more
