I think I was getting these short originally for my husband, since I got them in size XL and they're men's shorts. I'm usually a size 2x, but they fit me pretty well. They don't look great on me--the pockets kind of stick out a bit and they show my curves/fat rolls more than I'd like, but man, are they comfy cozy!! They are really soft and the stitching looks good. I love that they have nice deep pockets and the pockets in front close with zippers. I'm definitely going to be wearing these around the house A LOT. I do with they were a little longer as well, as they ride up a bit in the middle, but that also might be because I'm actually a little bigger for these. Also, there is nothing on the ends of the strings to keep them from sliding back into the shorts, so I have to tie them and I'm almost out of length there. However, considering these are technically a size too small for me, they fit remarkably well and my husband's not getting them after all. I would highly recommend.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but was definitely pleased upon opening the package when these arrived. This is a nice pair of workout or jogging shorts, made with a good cotton fabric blend. The style, cut, length and stitching are all top-notch. These are 64.5% cotton so probably a good idea to wash these in cold or cool water and dry on low, or line dry. i.e. Be careful not to shrink them in the dryer. Sizing is accurate and the fit is good and comfortable... not baggy, yet not loose either. There are front pockets on each side, both with zippers to keep things secure. There is also a regular pocket on the right rear. The drawstring is just the right length with a good thickness. Excellent quality casual shorts for workouts, yard work, or the beach. Definitely worth the money.

Overall nice sweat shorts with one main flaw - the stitching on the waistband seam on the inside is all wavy. It actually shows on the outside too so it looks a bit bunched up around the waist. My other minor complaint is the zipper pockets. Yes it’s nice to zip up and secure items but I don’t enjoy putting my hands in past the zipper, I’d rather have regular pockets. Fit is good for a medium and the fabric is comfortable. I like the Northyard logo patch on the leg as well.

Love these! They're super comfy. The fit is perfect (size is correct). They have zippered front pockets and a back pocket. The drawstring is unobtrusive (I don't keep the drawstring tied and yet the drawstring doesn't hang down below my shirt.) It's a nice touch when a company adds little details like that.. The waistband doesn't dig into my skin. It's like the size is perfect for my waist without being too loose or to tight. They are lightweight feeling, but are made from a durable fabric. The fabric on the inside isn't regular sweatpants material. It's almost like hook-and-loop, but it's VERY comfortable and soft. The height above the knee is spot on..

These shorts are comfortable and seem well made. The fabric on these shorts is nice and soft. The material is somewhat like a pair of sweatpants and feel really nice. These fit me pretty well, the legs aren't too short or too long and keep you nice and cool while working out or being outside in nice weather. One thing I noticed right after I got them was that the draw string liked to slip into the shorts causing me to have to dig them out. I ended up tying a couple of knots on the ends and that helped keep the draw string from slipping into the shorts. Overall, these are a nice pair of shorts for exercising or just wearing around in the nice weather.

I love the comfort and fit. The inside is soft and "fluffy" against the skin which I always look for in shorts/sweats. The drawstring is a bit longer, which I also always look for. A longer drawstring helps keep it from getting pulled back into the seam at the top. The pockets are easy to get into and on the deeper side. There is a back pocket which is convenient. highly recommended. I'm going to get a few more pairs now that I've had a chance to try these out.
