I have only had this plate for two days and I have to say it has helped me already. I wanted a plate that took some of the guess work out of a balanced diet as well as something that would limit portion size: portion size is my downfall every time. This is beyond useful and well made. It is made of bamboo that is coated so it doesn't absorb food stains as it easy to clean and use. It has a nice weight to it as well as no sharp edges so it would be great for kids. It is a nice light color and feels good to the hands and eyes. I lightly wash it with mild shop, immediately dry and then let sit out to air dry and drops of water I missed. So far, every food item/residue had come off like it is non stick. This plate has been so beneficial and helpful in these last two days. I have included tow photos of simple meals so you can see portion size and scale. This plate offers large portion sizes so that I feel full but am still in a decent amount of food. As long as you don't stack up your food, this plate will help you reduce your intake and allow a more balanced diet. I like that there is also a "favorites" section so I never feel deprived. I am beyond excited and happy to have this and I can't believe I waited so long to buy it. Happy Eating! ... show more

This is a great product, well made and larger/prettier than I expected. Its helpfully labeled too, although i dont always follow the guidelines since I have my own goals. Also I am not exactly certain of the portion size accuracy and this did not include a section for dairy, oddly. Pros: beautiful, helpful in reminding me of portion sizes, portable and hand washable, sturdy. Cons: did smell strongly of glue at first but that did fade. Got this for my dear husband n he likes it. Portion sizes are good, nicely engraved on the bamboo plate. The bamboo is real, feels so organic!! Will help in weight loss as the portion sizes are pretty genuine. When you use this plate you realise how much more u have been eating before it than required by your body. Has a favorite section on it as well so u can enjoy while being on diet (makes my husband happy). Seems durable as of now, will update soon.
