I have only had this plate for two days and I have to say it has helped me already. I wanted a plate that took some of the guess work out of a balanced diet as well as something that would limit portion size: portion size is my downfall every time. This is beyond useful and well made. It is made of bamboo that is coated so it doesn't absorb food stains as it easy to clean and use. It has a nice weight to it as well as no sharp edges so it would be great for kids. It is a nice light color and feels good to the hands and eyes. I lightly wash it with mild shop, immediately dry and then let sit out to air dry and drops of water I missed. So far, every food item/residue had come off like it is non stick. This plate has been so beneficial and helpful in these last two days. I have included tow photos of simple meals so you can see portion size and scale. This plate offers large portion sizes so that I feel full but am still in a decent amount of food. As long as you don't stack up your food, this plate will help you reduce your intake and allow a more balanced diet. I like that there is also a "favorites" section so I never feel deprived. Keep in mind while buying this product that it is only one plate for $20. So 4 plates for $80 seems a bit much. It is well made and if I was single this might be okay. Disappointed.

I'm one of those people where I feel like I have to clear my plate even when I'm full. This was a great purchase wish I had found these 2 years ago when I was struggling with weight gain. I've tried so many diets it didn't work for me. Now that I've these amazing portion plates I don't over eat anymore and the pounds are coming off. Btw the 20lb I lost I wasn't going to the gym. The portion size is too small for the vegetable component. This doesn’t allow you to follow the diabetic plate model. It was beautiful and aesthetically pleasing to see my food in this plate but it didn’t help me with my weight goals. Also it doesn’t include a lid so you can’t bring it to work to portion out your meals. ... show more

I love these trays!!! They really keep me honest so I can still enjoy all kinds of food without overdoing it. We have lots of good foods where I’m from and it’s easy enough to get carried away. I’ve found that I’m learning visuals to even help me gauge how much to eat when I’m away from home. This little tray is an excellent training tool for fitness and I’m so grateful someone took the time to design it... THANK YOU! Also, I’ve found it doesn’t stain if you wash it immediately after you’re done eating ... it’s a good cleanliness habit to get into anyway do ANOTHER good habit this little tray instills! Environmentally conscious, which I can approve! The corners are rounded so personally I don’t have an issue cleaning them but it can be done easily anyway with a nice bristle brush if you’re having issues with that. I’m very pleased with this purchase. I just bought 2 more to enjoy with my fit focused friends or diabetic friends who come over if they are on a strict plan and want to use them. ... show more
