This system is really great… I’ve lifted weights since I was 15 and we have an entire room dedicated to lifting, rowing, and other strength and aerobic-based routines (rowing, treadmill, etc). I am on a extended stay with family, and ordered this system and a simple bench to keep my muscle mass up. The weights cinch tightly and remove easily… honestly, there’s a bit of genius at work here. They’re not Olympic weights and don’t try to be – they’re just perfect for limited space. The size is different (thinner and much larger circumference) than the 2.5 Ibs weights that came with the dumbbell set. That is disappointing and odd.

Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about but these are the same size as the 2.0 version I bought last year. I've added 2 of these 20lb expansion packs so I can now use 40lbs on each dumbbell. I plan on adding another set soon. I love that these are easy to change, and compact. Between this and our adjustable kettle bells our whole gym can be stored in an area about the size of a carry-on suitcase. ... show more
