My main reason for getting one of these is because I want to be able to grind Chia seeds to use as an egg substitute (1 TBS ground seeds + 3 TBS water and let sit for a few mintues = 1 egg). In the attached photo is 2 TBS of seeds, which worked ok, but 1 TBS at a time would be better. I never was able to get it down to a powder, but I'm not sure if it was my technique or what. The product seems to work fine. I think I just need to find a new way to grind small seeds. It is also a bit small, but would work fine for small batches. It crushes my toddlersโ€™ vitamins into really fine powder texture so we can put it in their cereal. We also put it in the dishwasher (top rack) and it comes out clean as a whistle.
