Esay to install. Work as need. Be careful not to instal in the path of where u work your paddle. U may scratch u hands up while paddleing.... other wise im glad i have this product

Overall, I like these clips but can not give them 5 stars. The good: These clips work very well for kayak paddles. They hold the paddles very securely. We have them on two boats. I put a clip front and back on the boats so when we are on a big river or lake we can use the paddles to tie the boats together into a raft. Also put them on the sides of the boats for normal paddle holders. The mediocre: I found the provided hardware lacking in quality. Rather long screws and a soft rubber blind nut. When I tightened the nuts securely, they broke free from the rubber. If you don't mind the clips wobbling around you can just tighten part way. I wanted the clips to be secured tightly to the boats. I used my own stainless hardware on two installations, and reversed the blind nuts and used the provided long screws on a third. The Bad: Each clip has four very sharp corners. They are on the inside top, where the paddles clip in. Gave me a good cut when I brushed against the clip while paddling. I recommend dulling the corners with a file or sandpaper. I just did so on all of our boats.

Works great. Just remember when you go to mount these, not to have them too close to your “down stroke hand motion”. Can hit your fingers if positioned incorrectly.

These are the best add on to any Kayak. Easy to install and so much better than the bungee cords on any of my kayaks. They snap in tight, holding the paddle securely.
