I odered this motor for a 14 year old Nordic Track elliptical. I took a chance on this tension motor because the pictures looked like the one on my elliptical. The included pic is of the old motor that I removed. When it showed up, the model number did not match the number on the unit I ordered. I inspected the motor and it had the same mounting system, was the right size and the electrical connector looked correct. I installed the motor and the tension was in reverse. Number 1 tension was the hardest and at about number 6 the tension all went away. I then reversed the arm set up on the motor and all was good. Works great. A couple of tips: 1. Inspect the unit before you unbag it to make sure it's compatible. Easier to return when it hasn't come out of the bag. 2. If you can, make sure your elliptical tension is set at 1 before you unplug it, then observe the position of the magnets before you remove the old motor. When you install the new motor make sure the magnets are in the same position. If not, reverse the arm setup. 3. Be careful when you unscrew the disk on the back of the motor, if you drop the disk or screw it's a real POS trying to retrieve them. Better not to let them drop. Really helps to have a second set of hands helping for the re-install. ... show more

I’ll tell you working with Treadmill Doctor was way easier than going to the real Doctor I bought this for a GX4.0 Nordic track recumbent exercise bike fit like it supposed to works great

I Put it on my elliptical it made my elliptical numbers of pressure go into reverse from Titan to lose the lower numbers were tight in the hard numbers will lose it just put the gears in backwards.

Make sure you buy this from Treadmill Doctor and NOT Tread Life Fitness. After receiving two wrong parts from treadlife fitness, I specifically purchased from treadmill doctor by clicking "new" and selecting their listing. The part from treadmill doctor was the correct one. I believe that trend life fitness has stocked the wrong parts for this listing. ... show more

Not the easiest to replace. I kept dropping the nuts into the magnet housing. Not easy to get them out. Hold on to those! Just what my AudioStrider needed. Previously I would go to 15 and then sometime it would provide tension if it but other setting did not work.

Picture is inaccurate, but part number information was spot on according to NordicTrack guide. I was hesitant after the previous negative post about receiving the wrong part due to this but the part I received was what I needed and is working perfectly.
