I ABSOLUTELY love this auger. I cannot believe i used the gas angers for so long before finally seeing what the hype was with these. It has stayed sharp for 2 seasons and at least 60 holes. I love how easy it is to use and the holder and handle assembly keep your wrists in check. I use mine with a Dewalt 20V brushless and 5ah battery. Depending on ice thickness will determine how many holes ypu can get, but I've never had to change a battery on a trip out on the ice. The auger is light and packs nice on the sled. ... show more

It's heavy duty made and it worked excellent on my lazer hand auger. I used my 24 volt greenworks drill on it . Worked great! Has a grease fitting on it to add grease to the shaft if you ever have to. Better than most of the expensive ones I've seen out there.

I bought this in combination with a DeWalt drill to drive my 8" ice auger. Works beautifully. After a few years of use, it has held up very well. I tried to recommend it to a friend, but could not seem to find it available any more. Sooooo, I am not even sure if this review will be of any value...... But, I am very glad I bought it when I did. Drills holes extremely fast. It held up without issue for the season. I drilled hundreds of holes in 2ft ice and the blades are not yet dull. Also came with replacement blades which I thought was nice considering how long they last.
