Good Value and Design

Bought a cheap 3' x 5' "washable" rug from Wayfair. But after looking at it I told my wife that the first time she washed it the rubber backing would be gone. I was right. Bought this to put under it - works perfectly! It now has a quarter inch of additional padding under it and doesn't wad up into a ball each time the dog peals out on it. On the other hand (now that I think about it) I don't think the rubber backing on this pad would survive a washing machine, either - its pretty thin. Of course, it wasn't touted as washable, anyway - So, I still gave it 5 stars.

Stays Put and Adds Useful Protection

I bought this 8 x 10 rug pad for a large area rug in a busy part of my house where the rug tended to creep around on the floor. It was easy to unroll and position, and most of the fold marks flattened out quickly after I placed the rug over it and walked on it. The grip has been strong without feeling sticky, and the rug has stayed in place through daily foot traffic and vacuuming. I also like the felt layer because it adds a little cushioning and helps protect the hardwood underneath. It had no chemical odor when I opened the package, which was important for an indoor product this size. I tested a small spot with water before installation, and no water came through to the other side, which gave me confidence in the waterproof backing. One thing to know is that the actual size was slightly under the listed measurement on one edge. In my case, this worked out fine because the pad stays hidden beneath the rug. I was also able to trim a small amount of excess material cleanly with scissors. The thinner version does not add much extra softness, so I would choose a thicker option if cushioning is your main priority. Overall, this pad performs well, keeps the rug secure, and offers useful protection for hard floors.

Nice pad. This pad came folded but laid flat without any problem. It works great and doesn’t slide at all! It fit perfectly under the 10x14 ft rug so I didn’t have to cut any off. It seems to be a quality pad for the price. I’d love for it to be a little thicker but those cost more. I already paid so much for my rug I didn’t want to spend much on a pad. My grandchildren play on the rug and it seems to be enough pad for them.

Absolutely love this carpet. It stays in place totally fine when you unravel it. It has no crinkles in it. It’s amazing. Just be careful when you vacuum don’t vacuum in a high speed vacuum in a low speed read the directions but it works great and it’s if you get a little stain on it with my dog took a bone on it and got a little bit of discoloration. I just took a sponge went over. It came right out absolutely perfect.

Does not slip but hard to vacuum because rubber backing is airtight

Not what I was expecting. It's thin. It does not slip though. And rug stays on it very well. But the backing is so airtight that when you try to vacuum the vacuum wants to suck it up. Manufacture needs to find a way to put some tiny air holes in the rubber backing so it can be vacuumed easier. But all in all it does what it's supposed to. Recommend for thin rugs or rugs with no backing on them

This rug pad has held mine rug in place with zero issues and I was able to trim away any excess padding with ease. It is a great quality product and the only reason I did not give this rug pad Five stars was because it was a little thinner than expected. However, I did order the thinner Option and wish now I had opted for the thicker one. Overall, this rug pad had zero smell, and has done everything. It said it would!
