I'm loving these scrub pads so far. They are more aggressive than a wash cloth, but not so aggressive that they're going to destroy the things you want to clean. So far, I've found them to be slightly less effective than blue scotch scrubbing pads when it comes to dog bowls with dried-on pitbull drool, and they do a good job cleaning my Blanco sink without discernable scratching. I say "discernable" because I don't know the long term effects will be. Comet and steel wool work great in a porcelain sink. But after a few years the finish is destroyed. So I don't know if these will do tiny bits of damage that will accumulate over time and the next thing I know my surface is destroyed. But they're definitely less aggressive than comet and steel wool, and I expect they should be as safe as, say, magic eraser type scrubbers. So I'll keep using them for now on surfaces that I think can take it, and will continue to experiment to see how other surfaces hold up. I will update if anything changes.

I ordered these scrub pads mainly to use when cleaning the inside of my pro air fryer oven and its accessories (mesh baskets, wire racks, crumb tray, & sheet pans). We love our air fryer and use it often. As I am sure those of you who air fry have experienced, air frying substantially reduces the grease absorbed by or coating your food which makes the food healthier; however, what little grease is used seems to blow around inside the fryer and coat the inside and the accessories and in the end a person ends up with a situation similar to a messy oven and it’s oven racks with backed on gunk. Unfortunately my air fryer doesn’t have a self cleaning feature, like my oven does, so that means I have to manually scrub to remove the cooked on grease. These scrub pads along with a good degreaser work as well as or better than anything I have found to date to clean my air fryer without scratching it. The pads are well constructed and hold up well even after several uses. The reason I gave these pads four stars rather than five is because although they do a pretty good job of removing the grease off of the inside walls of the air fryer and its accessories, the pad it self becomes discolored (a brownish baked on grease type of color) even after hand washing and rinsing, which I assume means it is still holding some of the grease which, in addition to being unsightly, can cause bacterial and aroma issues.

These do a pretty good job of scouring out pots and pans, but I am not sure I'd use the term wire in the description. They do have a shiny metal something, but it's more like a thick, narrow piece of foil than what I thought of when I read the word wire. Anyways, I have used these on ceramic, aluminum, and cast iron with no problems. I actually like how they worked on the cast iron, as they are thick enough I can clean the skillet while it is still very hot. These do have a cloth or sponge kinda thing in the middle, that will eventually get too dirty to keep re-using, and I will see how good I can wash these out with some kind of industrial cleaner and maybe the washing machine, maybe a power washer, I dunno yet. If I can't get them clean, at this point, I am more than likely going to order more, because I do like them.

I was very pleasantly surprised by these "rags". They're not rags at all in the traditional sense: they are microfiber or something very close to it woven with steel wool in a clever way that retains the stoftness and flexibility of the fabric while also keeping the toughness of the steel wool. Altogether an impressive product! They even look nice, which is an interesting bonus. I definitely wouldn't use these near anything but your toughest needs, particularly scrubbing out hardened food on kitchen sinks (or toothpaste from bathroom sinks), say. They'd also be excellent for toilet scrubbing if you do that hands-on. And they're definitely made for utility sinks such as are found in washrooms and some garages; they're absolutely ideal for that. They're not really for day-to-day cleaning... probably too harsh for that. And I probably wouldn't use them on dishes, except for maybe the toughest stoneware, and certainly not on plastic or glass. Basically anywhere you have a tough cleaning job, these are what you reach for. Ten of them is the right amount to last you a while, they come in a resealable bag which is quite nice, and the price for what you get is quite reasonable. All in all, a really good product for tough cleaning jobs! I like it a lot.
