  • Silent clicks!
It really does have a silent click. You can still clearly feel the click action with your finger so you get that sensory feedback. This mouse is great for quiet environments.

  • Writing a review after using it for 2 years and 4 months.
Came here to write a review after this this mouse for 2 years and 4 months. Why? Because I don't usually write reviews, and I was searching for a new mouse so I thought I'd search my order history to see how long I've had this mouse for. I was pleasantly surprised. This mouse has served me very well all this time. It is as advertised, makes very little noise. After switching to this mouse, my wife has never complained about the clicking (I use it on my laptop in bed, the clicking noise was always an issue late at night when I was on the computer doing work or playing a game and she trying to sleep). The only reason I'm looking for a new mouse now is because the right click seems to be giving in. Nothing to do with the build material itself, the malfunction seems to have been caused by me. My work requires me to travel a lot, and I just throw this mouse in with my laptop charger in a bag, and my last trip seems to have had the right button depressed for a long time. It's not it's not working anymore, I just have to use a little more force than before for it to register. Again, not the manufacturers fault, that's why it still get's the full 5 stars. In fact, I might just order the same one again and try running it for another 2+ years (I know it'll easily outlast that). I have done everything on this mouse from web surfing to document editing to light drawing to playing games (Call of Duty: War Zone, Age of Empires, Cities: Skylines, Caesar 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, etc) and I have had absolutely no issues at all with maneuverability. An absolute recommend. ... show more

  • Update, 2 years later: Definitely quiet
Update 26/October/2020: I didn't realize I had this mouse for 2 years til I went looking for a second quiet keyboard/mouse combo for my work computer! Thanks to the pandemic, I've been working from home for most of the year, and don't want my typing or clicking to wake up the previously mentioned S.O. The DPI button does make a difference. I'm just saying I notice that it makes a difference. Usually, I accidentally click it, don't notice til I realize my cursor speed is suddently berserk, then click it back to where it was. I haven't found a need to change the cursor speed, but it's there, and noticeable, if you need it. The mouse is still amazingly quiet! I have noticed an issue (not gonna lie, 2 years on a computer where I game a lot, no deduction of stars for a $17 mouse) or two: Wheel scrolling isn't quite as quiet as it used to be (still quieter than normal mice), and sometimes I have to click twice (it'll happen in 3 days of a week, then not again for a month or two) for a click to register (go figure, you mash on a mouse button in first person shooters almost daily and problems happen after 2 years of this abuse). If I don't find an appropriate wireless combo in my new search, I will gladly get this one twice over (once for the work station, and a replacement for the personal station)! Original review follows: I got this mouse because I got tired of being on Skype calls with a nosy significant other: "What are you clicking? What are you clicking? What are you clicking?". This mouse clicks super silently and I'm not asked any more (also, the answer is 'browsing reddit', I just got tired of repeating myself). I haven't noticed a huge difference with the DPI button, but it allows me to play my games just as well as the basic mouse I used to have. Worth the money! ... show more

  • It's quiet... but the microswitches fail too fast.
As far too many other commenters have said - yes, it's nice and quiet, but the microswitches on the buttons don't last worth a damn. I've had mine about a month, using it about 16 hours a day, both for work and gaming, and today it's started to go: merely clicking the right mouse button no longer works, I have to click and press *hard*. I haven't been using it insanely heavily: haven't been playing cookie clicker or anything. I've never had a mouse fail so fast. It's the right mouse button, not the left, which seems strange, as I use it far less - but many others here have reported either left or right button failing. Left, right, and middle buttons all seem to use the same type of microswitch, so I guess it's a gamble which goes first, but it seems, go they will. I opened it up, to have a look. It's better-made inside than most mice I've dismantled, I have to say. There's one small Phillips screw under the quality control sticker, then it sorta hinges open from the back. When putting it back together, there are a lot of supporting posts that will only align if the front's properly clipped in. As with most wheel mouse, there was a bit of cat-hair inside it, since I have cats: not a lot that can be done to avoid that, so I cleaned it, though it wasn't interfering with anything. However, the righthand microswitch didn't make contact when pressed down to clicking - it needed a little more depression. This suggests that the contact inside has been squished a bit. Sadly the microswitch is a sealed unit, unlike some of the noisier mice which have microswitches which are just clipped shut, so you can open them and fix/clean the leaf-springs. So, this is essentially unrepairable, though when I get a replacement I'll try cracking the microswitch open to see if it IS repairable. ... show more

  • Lasted 6 months only
It worked for 6 months, stopped clicking. Works great while it works. Comfortable, but lacks durability
