This was ordered for my 20 year old 6ft son. He says it it very comfortable. It works well on his new platform bed. Came quickly and was very easy to set up. Just open the box and unwrap. Inflated quicker than other bed in box mattresses that we have purchased in the past.

Update 90 days in - ended up returning, body pain worse on this one. I just need the thicker mattress apparently. I am a side and back sleeper with myofascial pain and osteoarthritis. Deciding now between another T&N regular with the topper, or T&N Mint. Also an fyi - if you think you might need the topper, buy on the T&N website. They will send you one for free, if you buy it here, you have to buy the topper yourself. Really, overall a great company, they tell me this is a customer security issue because they can't by law get Amazon's records to prove you bought it, etc.... ==================================================================== I got the 10 inch version last year. It was too firm for me but T & N sent me a topper which made it perfect with an iso cool mattress pad. I sleep very hot so I use only cotton sheets as well. I have slept better in the last year than in decades. My only issue was it being 12 inches total in height. I had to climb up on the bed, not ideal for someone with arthritis. When my husband started having trouble with his mattress (we have a split king, 2 twin xl frames stuck together), which was a different memory foam type that had bowed in the middle, I suggested he try mine without the topper as he likes his firm. He loved it. So he has the 10 inch, which after a year looks and acts brand new, and I got the nod. ... show more

The package was undamaged and super easy to haul up the stairs around through two 90 degree turns to get into my 1920s second level flat. A few years ago, I bought the basic Tuft and Needle mattress and was pleased with it. When I ordered this one, I went to my old order and ordered the exact same thing. This one is far softer, when you sit on it you sink almost all the way to the bed base. The mattress felt so wrong that I had chose to open the zipper cover. The zipper tag was broken off, so I had to use a tool to even move the zipper. When I saw the foam layers, I noticed the darker top layer, as illustrated on the tuft and needle website was is on the bottom. I’ve not tried sleeping on this mattress yet, but feel quite confident it will be no where near as comfortable as the one I bought a few years back. Very disappointed overall. I trusted this company for a good produce, but really feel like I’ve received a cheap knock-off. Even the tag is poor quality. ... show more

"Medium firm" is very misleading. The mattress is extremely soft and feels like you are sinking into quicksand, and I am not a heavy person (160 lbs). I have this mattress on the frame of a mechanical bed (no boxspring). It bends easily which is what I wanted. I love how the upper layer is soft, yet the core is firm. I'm 150 lbs and it is just right. It also does not get hot. Sliding into bed is wonderful.
