Five years on this as my everyday bed and it still feels the same as the day I unboxed it. No sagging, no dip where I sleep, no soft spot. That's the part I'd want to know as a buyer, because plenty of foam mattresses feel great for six months and then start caving. One heads up: firm means firm here. Great for kids!

This was perfect for transitioning my son from his crib to a twin sized floor bed! It is okay for an adult to lay on but I wouldn’t recommend sleeping overnight on it, my husband and I have definitely woken up with some back pain after falling asleep in my sons bed!

I am a huge Tuft & Needle fan and this is my 3rd mattress with them (not because any of the others failed--I had to move, etc.) and I've purchased a number of toppers from them as well. I'm super allergic to memory foam---can't use it at all. Normal foam I can use after a couple month outgassing. Tuft & Needle, I can use in a matter of days--right away if I'm not being a baby. Now for this specific mattress. I've had a twin before but the deeper twin. I love this thinner one because its so easy to move around--not everyone needs that, but for me, its perfect. Just as comfortable if not more so than the thicker one. I personally put a topper on the top of their mattresses, but I doubt most people would need this---I realize this is highly subjective and personal. To me, two Tuft & Needle toppers on top of a rug is perfection in terms of comfort, but when you don't want to live like a college student, their mattresses are great. Really in the Goldy locks zone of squish versus firm. They don't get all sunken and weird. Just a wonderful product AND a good brand--if you don't like their stuff, they have you donated it to a charity and give you the refund. I was not paid for this review, FYI, just gaga for Tuft n' Needle. Also--pro-tip--if you are ever in a jenky hotel and need to outgas an egg crate topper quickly, you can put them in a public dryer with one of those anti-allergy fabric softener sheets---speeds everything up. ... show more

Love this mattress!

We purchased a twin XL for our spare bedroom so I really couldn't give it an accurate review until now. Long story short, I had to sleep on this mattress for the last few months and I have to say I like it better than any of the full size mattresses we've owned in our master bedroom. We did have to purchase a mattress topper because it was too firm as is. We bought a 2" topper and it's very comfortable now after getting used to it as it is still a bit firmer than what I've been use to. Knowing how much I love this mattress, I'm wishing I would have purchased a full size for our master bedroom instead of the $1,200 mattress that we did. ... show more

Firm back support for children's spine under 8

I purchased two of these beds for many reasons- I love them and heres why- affordable, has amazing certifications about assuring you they use higher quality materials and no toxins. HUGEEEE for me. This was my whole mission-to find a bed for my two kids, that had these certifications, without spending $1,000+ . Also, children under ages, I believe it’s 8 but could be 7; should be on a mattress that is not thick for optimal spinal development- so we choose the 6” height/firm mattress- size full, for both of our children under 7. They love their mattresses and honestly, it’s more comfortable than my $3,500 mattress that is 18+ in height with no certifications. Oh I wish I knew back then about the importance of these certifications and how high of a mattress is right for you. Seriously, great mattress; and they arrived quick and we love this brand. Horrible smell that takes a long time to go away

We have this model in twin and a twin xl sizes. The twin size one is fine, but the twin xl has an incredibly strong chemical smell. Airing the room daily and using an air purifier helps a bit, but it was weeks of this. Close the windows for a few hours and you get back to nauseating level of fumes.
