  • Noctua is always the best
It took some guess work but these installed flawlessly. Noctua's are the best because you can barely hear them, even at 4400 rpm. My only grief was installation on a Lian Li front fans, some of the screws wouldn't reach so I had to visit the local Lowe's hardware for some extra long 6/32 inchers. They're also misaligned but its nothing crippling. Aside from that I can't recommend Noctua fans enough. These fans are great! ... show more

  • Noctua, what more can I say?
As most case fan, 3d printer, pc builders, ect... enthusiast know, Noctua makes absolutely incredible fans. I can confirm that, they do in fact make INCREDIBLE fans. I have a micro ATX pc build. My case doesn't have much room nor fan space, BUT it does have a 200mm fan for the front intake. Since this the only intake on my small case I figured I needed the best. When I found out Noctua makes a 200mm... I WAS EXCITED. This fan is very quiet at pretty much all RPM ranges and it also moves ALOT of air. BUT, be warned it is a MEGA-CHONKUS fan. Pictures do not do it justice and I greatly underestimated the size when it arrived. I ended up having to orbital grind the plastic on the front of my desktop case to make this fan fit. WELL worth the trouble. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. HUGE FAN = AMAZING FAN! ... show more

  • Noctua, need I say more?
It is a little expensive (as most Noctua fans are), but it is well worth it. I had a lot of trouble finding a similarly sized fan with PWM control, and I know this fan will outlive my computer so I can reuse it again for my next build. It moves a good amount of air and is completely silent, plus you can adjust the flow as needed with the PWM control. Very high quality, but then... would you expect anything else from Noctua? ... show more

  • Super quiet
Replaced my 10 year old case fan that died. Very quiet. Recommend.

  • Will "fit" CM HAF X and CM HAF 922 with some ingenuity
SO, if you're like me and have been dragging the Cooler Master HAF X or HAF 922 "boat-anchors" with you for years because it's got the room you need (and actually has space for drives, even DVD/CD front panel *gasp* unlike a lot of cases today) and aren't worried about updated front headers (cuz the back IO's work just as good) then these are the answer to replacing the 200mm. The front fans can be replaced with some patience as it takes a bit to line up the correct holes. The top exhaust fans though cannot be directly replaced by these inside of the case due to the location of the Motherboard plate and the beefier construction of the Nactua fan as opposed to the proprietary Cooler Master fans with odd screw placement. If you don't want to drill and Dremel, the solution is really simple. Just install it on top of the case. Yup, you'll need an a fan expansion cable that fits the plug so you can run it through the water cooling holes in the rear of the case and a 200mm fan grate that Noctua also happens to make. Because they are 200mm, the sound difference is negligible. So there ya' go. :-) ... show more

  • Noctua NF-A20 4 pin PWM 200x30mm fan: expensive but good, needs better screws in kit
The fan itself is great. Probably the best 200mm fan (for moving lots of air quietly) you can get here in 2023/2024. It has no RGB feature but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Still would be nice for this price. It does have 4 sets of colored silicone bumpers to dampen vibration which is a well intentioned but mediocre attempt by Noctua to add some pizazz here. Uses a 4 pin PWM connector so its easy to tune the rpms to get your ideal air movement and noise ratio. This is basically silent (~25dba at 800rpm) at full blast though and produces a very low pitch whoooshing sound that can only be heard up close (around 12in or so). I knocked off a star because of the high price (Noctua's fans are good but the prices...jeeez!), the fan cable is kinda short at 30cm (needs to be nearly doubled IMO, had to use extenders to just reach my mobo in my case, Thermaltake Core X9), and doesn't include longer screws in the kit. You're going to need 35mm+ long screws to mount this fan on many cases. The included M3's won't fit for many 200mm fan mounts. Its a bit thicker than other 200mm fans so watch out for that! There are also 3 sets of mounting holes: 154x154mm, 110x180mm, and 170x170mm. ... show more

  • Good fan. Good customer support
Bought a fan, was missing the cord and screws it comes with. Emailed Noctua customer support, they had replacement to me in Ohio within 4 days of messaging them. Fan itself is solidly constructed. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE 3CM OF SPACE that this fan requires. Pulls a great amount of air and it's dead silent. Bought a second one and that one had the 4 pin power cord and screws included. Great fan. Worth the money. ... show more
