I had a "reclining gaming chair", it was awful and didn't last a year, was never comfortable and the metal bar that allowed you to put you legs up never was strong enough to hold adult weight legs up, and broke withing a year. I always like the mesh chairs because they are comfortable but also keep you cool but they are really overpriced. Found this one for under 200 and it also had a head rest. Perfect. Others complained no instructions in box, but mine were wrapped up in the main back portion of the chair, also it is so easy to setup I put it together in 15 min without even reading the instructions. The arms can be mounted inward and outward to get the best possible placement for your body type, the rests themselves swivel left and right, up and down, and front to back. So many chairs don't even have that! The reclining mechanism is great, just make sure to tighten the front knob so you don't scare yourself, but raise and lower lever also LOCKS the recline position so you don't get that vertigo falling feeling when reclining like most office chairs, to unlock lean back slightly and pull the lever out, to lock, lean to desired position and push in. Also the wheels are SUPER quiet and spin fast and free and not clunky like cheap chairs. I am super happy with this chair it was exactly what I needed in my computer room/man cave to lean back and relax but also stay cool since that room is always warm. Awesome job to the manufacturer of this chair. Also everyone says "It's heavy...." , but I picked it up with one arm and brought it inside and put it together really easily since it is so light weight. I think all the other people are vegan or something.....not sure what they are talking about. The chair is vary light materials of plastic and practically air seat cushion....how could it be so "heavy". Oh well to each their own, but I found nothing at all wrong with this chair.

Firstly, the pros. The overall build quality is solid. Rigid plasic, and the mesh is reassuringly tight when pressing on it. And my favorite feature, the ability to lock the recline halfway. At half the price, this chair would be an excellent value. However, it's not a $120 chair, it's $240. And at that price there are some things that really let me down. Firstly, the hydraulics. The chair sinks throughout the day and I have to raise it two or three times throughout my eight hours in it. Coming back the next morning, the chair has bottomed out. Second, I was expecting a little more adjustability. The lumbar support is in a fixed position and cannot be pushed in or out. The chair tilt is also fixed, and when sitting straight up I almost feel like it's tipping me out. It's perfect when reclined but a bit of a downward angle when not. Third, the design of the arm rests. They are just awful. The rotation is completely unnecessary, and they don't extend far enough back to actually support my arms. I prefer to have the arms slightly under the desk and then use the chair armrests to rest my elbows on. However this design doesn't extend far enough back for that. Your preference may vary, but that's my experience with it. Overall, it's not a bad chair by any stretch. With a replacement for the saggy hydraulic I would give it a solid recommendation. At half the price, I'd give it a raving review. But for double the price what I paid for my office chair I use at home, which is fully leather, cushioned, and has the same ergonomic design as this chair, I am left feeling a little disappointed in the adjustability (the primary reason I bought this chair over another of the same model I have at home) and "ergonomic" design.

I put it together in about 15 minutes, while watching a bowl game. Easily assembled and sturdy design. I’d go for the upgraded wheels for $10, well worth it. The ones that come with the chair are plastic and look like they’d break without much effort. The mesh material supports much better than expected and the lumbar support is fantastic. I’m thinking the mesh will last longer than my previous chair with a cushioned seat over hard plastic. The mesh in this chair may eventually sag with use, but it’s not like a cushion that compresses over time and you feel the plastic bottom more. This chair may not be for short people. I’m only 5’10” and I’m most comfortable on the lowest setting. If I go higher, about half way up, my feet barely touch the floor. I’m usually not a headrest user, but when you recline this one is perfect. When in the most erect position, I feel like you have to lean too far back to feel it. Not so much a help if you’re working from home, for example. The armrest are great as well. They adjust a significant amount, so I would assume anyone could find a comfortable setting. If you game with a controller, the 3D armrests are amazing, fitting the natural position when using sticks. I don’t mind, but the armrests are fairly hard, with little give. Some may want armrest pads with this chair. Overall, I’m very happy with this chair. It looks and feels great. I’d recommend this chair to anyone looking for a new one.

This is an excellent office chair for the price I paid ($155) with very adequate lumbar support, and I actually really like the head rest which I didn't think I needed. But, it's SQUEAKY!! I was finally annoyed enough by the noise today to slightly disassemble in order to access the moving parts and add some oil. It's super quiet now, but I'd recommend doing this during the initial assembly. One star deducted from "Assembly" for not mentioning this in the instructions.

I work a desk job with 12 hour shifts where thousands are spent on 24/7 chairs. I needed one for home and gave this one a chance and it's honestly great. It's lacking a couple of features, it would be nice if the back would lock with a switch instead of having to twist an adjustment knob. This is what keeps it from being 5 star to me, but I realize I may be accustomed to a higher dollar feature. I would say for the money spent - it's worth the buy.
