I first purchased one of these for my daughter's dorm to go between the beds. 5 minutes later, I decided to purchase another one (because the price was so great!) to go between my other 2 daughter's twin beds- today we received the one for home and it fit perfectly between the 2 beds and my daughters are so happy with the sizing and the color. We purchased the gray color, but this rug comes in so many pretty colors! It does NOT shed at all-of course we just received it today, but we did walk on it quite a bit with our socks on. So, we received the package and it was vacuum packed and once the package was opened it poofed up. The directions said that the bottom underpad would puff up in 1-2 days so we are waiting on that. It is non slip underneath, but I may still buy something to give it a little more added lift to make the underpad seem thicker. All in all, this is so worth it for the money! WE bought the 4 x 5.3. I am so so happy with our purchase so far! Plus I ordered it with Prime on a Saturday and it arrived on a Sunday, the next day! AWESOME! The one I ordered for my daughter's dorm I had shipped directly to her dorm and will be super easy for her to carry back to her room from the mail room because the package is so compact and not real heavy at all. I also ordered that one on Saturday and that is scheduled to arrive 3 days later on Tuesday, which is not back considering her dorm/college is a bit remote. (Our home one probably arrived so quickly because Amazon has a facility like 7 minutes from my home!) :)

This rug isn’t thick, it’s a lot of thin materials forming a rug. The shag they talk about isn’t shag. Just fibers to create what feels like hand made. It’s definitely soft to the touch and feels good on my feet, but very slippery and I fear I will slip and fall. It also comes folded and shrink vacuumed so it’s in a box. I do love the deep brown color though. Aside from that I wouldn’t buy this again, as I think it’s a hazard to walk on.

I purchased the 5x7 grass green rug and love it! It arrived in a vacuum packed bag which made it easier to handle. Once opened, I laid it out on the floor to settle in because it had fold marks and was a little wonky. After about a day it smoothed out wonderfully, no wrinkles or waviness. The fibers aren't too long or too short, very fine and as soft as a baby seal. Everyone wants to sit or lay on it because the softness is irresistible. My cats laze about on the rug around the clock and I swear they've never slept better. I also find myself sitting on the floor a lot more these days. The fibers haven't shed at all which is incredible. I spilled a little coffee on the rug, used waterless pet wash and it worked great. At some point soon I'll throw it in the washer on cold and let it air dry per their instructions. I noticed some entitled buyers complaining about the lack of padding and it's true that it only has a thin layer of foam on the underside. (These are the same people who believe that if you love your job then it's a hobby and they should receive your service/goods for free.) However, for the price you can't do better. I simply bought some kids' interlocking foam squares to put under the rug and voila! I wasn't paid nor did I receive a discount or free merchandise for this review.
