These arrived just before I had to leave for an overnight double-shift. When I got home; I decided to just check to see how difficult they were going to be to install. Took me all of 15 minutes to open and install 2 blinds in my bedroom; and that includes the embarrassingly long amount of time it took me to figure out I was loosening, instead of tightening the first tension rod. Looking forward to finding out exactly how light-blocking these are. The tension mechanism seems rather cheaply made; so somewhat curious/concerned about longevity. And my only other nitpick is there isn’t an option to have the tension covers mirror each other, for a more symmetrical look; but I already have curtains in these windows, so unlikely to show at all. Giving 5 stars based on initial installation. Will update after an opportunity to live with them for minute. (mentally already calculating the costs and considering colors to be able to install in every other window in the house… Really appreciated the wide variety of widths and lengths available. Was able to order “off the shelf” without having to customize! ... show more
