I bought this as a less expensive option than custom blinds. This worked out better than I thought. It took me more time to get the item out of the box than it did to install it. Simplest blind installation I have ever had. Quality is there too! Comunication is more than I expected as they want to make sure they get it right. The measurements I gave them made it a perfect fit for my window. Gives me the shade in my office as the sun beams into my office during the day. I just got the light filtering and it works perfectly. Was afraid I needed to go with the blackout, but it was not necessary.

Our home has 50 windows, but thankfully living on 18 acres window coverings are not needed. Since my husband built our home from an old barn he is highly selective on screws going into the trim. I found these shades. Upon arrival, we were both happily surprised at the quality, thrilled at the ease of installation, and completely over the moon at the beauty they add to the space. Really well made! Very Nice! Be careful to make sure that you have the width at the top correct because the clamping feature will push the overall mounting off center. Ideal would be actual width of the gap plus no more the a quarter of an inch.

The blackout blinds are a different colour than the side facing the window, so if you ordered black like I did, the other side is white. Maybe a design error, but I wrote to the seller, and still waiting to hear from them.
