This is for the BRICK pattern. It was a good price compared to the other films I've purchased and I really like the colors: soft greens, light blues, cream and tans. Definitely no dark browns as pictured in the photos. If you mentally picture the dark browns shown as more of a milkier brown, that's what it looks like. The buildings within view of my bedroom windows are made of brick that's sort of a light orangey tan, so it turned out that having this on my window for privacy also goes well with the walls outdoors - nice bonus. I also like the width of the roll (17.7") because I wanted the film to cover only the bottom half of my windows so it worked out perfectly for me. The brick pattern runs the length of the roll. So assuming you have windows taller than 17.7" and you want the brick pattern to sit horizontal, you'll be stacking strips of the film on top of each other. A note about the display photo: I roughly counted the horizontal rows and it shows 17 (counting in the center from bottom to top). When I count the same way for the film on my windows, I only come up with 13 rows. As for transparency, you can't see through this film at all. It cuts back on glare without noticeably dimming the light entering the room. I have one window that faces the afternoon sun and the light coming through the film isn't predominantly blue-ish as you might expect; it's more a soft orangey rose .. or rosy orange LOL not sure how to describe it, but it's not very noticeable and is pleasant. No rainbows, glowing colors, or anything of that nature. Finally, the (minor) con: I've used other window films which were heavier and so were a little easier to work with. This stuff must have stretched a bit when I was shifting it on the window because when I accidentally cut a section too short and had to add a slice it was a bit iffy matching the edges. It wasn't too bad though and I'd definitely buy this brand again.

Wanted to use this in my den, whose windows are right next to entry of my condo building. I have a first floor unit, so... I wanted to have some light without feeling the fishbowl effect. I got this pattern because I liked it, and the colors were good with my decor. As other reviewers have indicated, they are not quite as shown. Monitor variation can account for some? I looked at it on 5 screens, mine and other people's. They all actually matched each other. LOL The roll I received was very bright. It was a more muted color once applied, but not as much as shown in the picture. I have issues with its quality. This film is thin. (I have ordered Artscape products in the past, which are more substantial. I cannot say one bad thing about those.) The thinness of this film is good in that it was easier to cut and to handle. It was harder to work with on install, to position. Much easier to get the bubbles out. I had it up a couple days. As soon as the temperature outside dropped, it fell off. Period. Which was fine with me, because the room was too dark. It would be a better film if it had some clear blocks to let light in. I promptly ordered an Artscape film to replace it, but I have to wait for winter temps to pass so I can install it. I am keeping this product, because I have some ideas for it, like using it on the inside of glass doors of a cabinet.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this remarkable stuff! It's super easy to install! Very forgiving, moderately thick vinyl. have it on quite a few of my windows, as I live right off of a very busy main street, and across from a school. It provides excellent privacy while still allowing for natural light to enter. I used it on the OUTSIDE of my window this time to help hide that big ol crack! I don't know how well it'll hold up, being exposed to the elements, but we shall see.
