Normally a product like this would make me nervous, but I'd recently rented an electric scooter which had a similar holder for my phone. As flimsy as that one was, it worked really well. THIS one worked much better, although does do some wiggling and jostling around. You just have to trust that it has your phone and all is well. I have an iPhone 12 in an Apple case. It held it just fine. I found I kept stretching the corner straps, hoping for more a snug fit, but it just won't happen, yet works just fine. Worth it for the money. This is a great, low tech way to attach your tech to a bike. Very flexible and easy to change orientation from portrait to landscape. Holds standard iPhone easily. Don’t have a max sized iPhone to try on it. Appears durable.

I purchased this for my e-bike. Once I got it tight enough on the handlebars, it has worked very well. I haven't had any issues with security of my phone, even when on rough roads.

After using one of these on a rental bike during a trip, I thought I would give it a try. My biggest complaint was the tendency for the phone to be constantly falling out of view, due to road vibration. The trip involved turn by turn directions (via ridewithgps), so I needed to be able to see the screen. Somewhere along the way, it occured to me that if I attached the phone holder to the stem, rather than the handlebars, the phone stayed put. As for durability, time will tell. ... show more

I have a somewhat large phone. 6.7 inches so it's not light either. I was able to attach to my stem or handlebars and found it surprisingly secure. This is for a road bike, but I had sections where I was on rough terrain, and it stayed put. Always good to look down at it occasionally to make sure it's not tilted but after a few hundred miles I'm gaining more confidence with it. The phone does jiggle on the holder some on rough terrain, that's the only thing that makes me keep an eye on it, but I'm fine with a little jiggling as long as the phone doesn't fall off which it doesn't look like it will. For durability, I hope it lasts a year. Generally, a flexible band attachment is not going to last many years due to repeated stretching, that's my guess, who knows. ... show more
