I wanted my daughter to be able to stand on it if needed. I don’t think it’s strong enough for a 120 pound person to stand on it. It’s very pretty and made well besides that.

I bought a couple of these for costume storage in my daughters room. They are a perfect size for her to sit on and look super cute in her room. They don't hold a lot, (2 princess dresses), but fit nicely in her room as an accent piece.

I bought this solely to use as an occasional low footstool that could be tucked away under the bed or a chair when not in use, and it fits the bill: no frills, small and inexpensive. Actually, it would make a perfect addition to a child's room. Deep enough to hide a few toys inside, fairly durable, easy to clean and low enough for a child to sit (or climb) upon; however, would not recommend an adult doing so. Don't expect a quality piece of furniture, but if not roughly used it should last for a while. NOTE: the pink color -which I ordered- is BRIGHT coral...definitely NOT pink. ... show more
