Works as expected. Battery has been better than expected. Don't love the button placement (AB) below the right joystick. I think some after market controllers have the buttons more on the outside with the stick closer to the center (basically swapping locations). I never use the right stick but always use the buttons so prefer them in an easier to reach/more comfortable location. ... show more

Controller did not come in any of the original packaging but that's ok. It did come with a Type A to Mini B cable to charge the controller. The controller works great after I fully charged it out of the box. No sticky buttons, analog sticks feel good, and the d-pad is good. The glossy finish has scratches expected with that kind of material. If you don't use a clean micro-fiber cloth to wipe it down once, it's going to end up in scratches. Overall the controller I got does not show too much wear otherwise on the back or anywhere else. Your results if you decide to purchase may vary. I did have to wipe and q-tip the controller as there was still some gamer gunk from the last person who had this controller. Cleaning could've been better which is why I'm removing a star. Played with it for a bit and no connection instability. 9/10 would purchase again. ... show more

I purchased a renewed Wii U Pro gaming controller. I was expected a fully functioning product still in good condition. However, aside from the outer appearance, the controller battery doesn't charge and there is none of the LEDs will light.     • Won’t hold a charge
I gave this product 2 stars because cosmetically the controller was in excellent condition as described, however this controller does not hold a charge. In order to use the controller I have to leave it plugged in the charger. It’s inconvenient and considered a wired controller at this point.

This controller was a great buy for me. The battery life lasts a long time before it needs to be charged, the material is solid, the buttons and sticks don't feel cheap, and it works like new. Even though it's renewed, it's like a brand new controller.
