The old controller was ripped from the unit, and cables were hanging out. Assembled it and tried to run it with it, did not work when reattached to the unit. Some people said to clean the rails, but it did not work. It seems like the integrity of the “fixed” old controller and its battery charging was corrupted, and the unit would reject it. Buying this new controller took care of the problem, the game now works as it should. ... show more
