Update: Eventually figured out the problem was loose and missing screws in the Nintendo Switch itself and not the controllers. Once I replaced the missing screws and tightened the others up, everything works great now! Original Review: Bought these for a birthday gift, for my son, about 6-8 weeks ago. They are both loose when connected to the Nintendo Switch. After about 3 weeks, the yellow one stopped charging and we haven’t been able to use it since. I ordered this from “S&T trading”. It is listed as “used, very good” but the joycons are new as described and came with original packaging. No fortnite dlc included but I don’t need it anyway. The joycons are working great and I really like the look.

    • I’m pretty sure it was open box
It is the joycons. I have not tried the code yet so I’m not sure if the code will work. It arrived a day late, so I was kind of annoyed about that. It was also clear that somehow this was open box - I found a piece of pink fuzz/lint I had to pull off the joycon. But I didn’t find any finger prints or anything. The joycons itself looks unused and the package was sealed (even though there were a few marks on the box). They still appear brand new and feel brand new so I’m not sure why I found lint in it. Also the price is hefty, but that’s what happens with exclusive products. And there’s no way to get insurance on these, so it makes me not want to touch them. If they get drift, it’s pretty much done for. And if you ship it off to Nintendo to fix drift there’s no guarantee you’ll get these joycons back as they’re limited edition. So I would advise this product for a collector standpoint and not to actually be used. ... show more
