The media could not be loaded. For the price, this Ninja Blender does a fantastic job. I had an expensive blender but got rid of it a couple years ago. The Ninja did an excellent job blending a frozen drink. It is quite large and bulky. I live in an older home that doesn’t have adjustable shelves in the cabinets so storing it will be a challenge for me, but because of the way the blender performs…. We've had our fair share of blenders over the years. We've tried the cheap, the expensive, and in-between ones. This Ninja TB201 would be considered the "in-between," but it performs like an expensive one. You've probably seen the ones at a warehouse, with demos and extraordinary claims of efficiency and accessories. But do you need a blender that is also a juicer? I don't think so. Not for most people, anyway. That's where this one comes in. It's super powerful (1800 watts) and will care for your needs, big or small. We've used it to make our tomato sauce and breakfast smoothies, and it's pretty neat how it can detect how to blend depending on your place before turning it on. If you have frozen fruit, for example, it will blend differently than if you have fresh fruit. And it comes out perfectly every time. We are smoothie addicts in the morning, so having a dependable blender is imperative to our routines. And this one worked well so far. Our last Ninja was great, too, but it was 1200 watts, so I was excited to see the power and noise differences. It's still loud, as a blender is, but not as blaring as the last one. I take that as a win! You can find this one here on Amazon for $140. While a lot out there are over $300, Ninja ensures there is value to their products. And this is a value if you are one to use it often. If you are only an "every once in a while" blender user, you can feel free to get one below $100, but if you like quality, spring for this one anyway. This one doesn't come with accessories, but you can purchase "after-market" ones. Just make sure it's a six blade accessory. If you get one, you can make individual smoothies rather than use the large 72oz. Pitcher. It's no big deal to us because generally, we'll make two most mornings, but know it's an option. I would think that Ninja will be releasing OEM accessories soon, because this is such a new model. ... show more

Yep, you read that title correctly. I’ve never owed a blender. Ive owned a few different rechargeable personal blenders over the years but never a full size blender. Let me just say “Wow” there is a huge difference! It takes half the time to make a smoothie. Pros: Crazy easy to use! It can be intimidating just look in gnat the options but all I needed to do was plug in and go! Really appreciate that it doesn’t start without the blender glass AND lid secured. Blends ice and frozen fruits with ease! It’s smart! It’s reads the consistency in the pitcher and provides a count down on the start/stop dial. Very easy to clean. No nooks or crannies that can’t be reached. The base had 4 suction cups to keep the unit in place. Such a great idea! Cons: This thing is LOUD!! It sounds like a freight train coming straight through your kitchen. And it’s very large. See picture for height of just the base. I have a small kitchen with limited storage so it takes up a good deal of real estate. All in all very impressed. Next I want to try making salsa and nut butters. I feel like you can’t go wrong with a Ninja kitchen product. They make a great product! ... show more

I have a small Ninja blender that I love so I thought I’d give this one a try. It does not disappoint! It is powerful. It can blend ice for frozen drinks quickly and doesn’t leave any pieces behind. I've been a fan of Ninja products for a long time, but this is the first Ninja blender I've tried. And manoman, did they design it intelligently! It's lighter weight than the high-end blender I've been using for years, but it's very bit as powerful, and the suction cups on the bottom keep it from traveling across the counter when you use it. The first thing I noticed on taking it out of the box was that it has multiple blades all up and down the blade assembly, so there's not much problem with a single blade at the bottom failing to attack everything in the pitcher if you don't have a lot in it. (I encounter this often with my other blender,, and it's a frequent issue with my food processor as well.) They stress that the "BlendSense" technology is best for making smooth things like smoothies and shakes, but there are manual, "mode" and pulse settings as well, so you can take control if you need to process something differently--like if you don't want something pureed. The digital readout on the dial gives you the information you need. The lid is kind of unusual, in my experience. It locks down with a handle, and it has a pour spout in a corner. I love this blender so much that I may have to abandon my other one altogether. And I may even retire my food processor, as this can do most of the same things I use mine for.
