I first came across this ice cream maker in a YouTube video, where a guy who had received one put it to the test. I eventually worked up the courage to buy one for myself. I ended up finding this refurbished unit. I’ve never had a single problem with it, and honestly, it’s just like new. It’s wonderful! The first two batches of ice cream didn't turn out very well, but I got the hang of it, and after that, the ice cream came out perfect. Is it noisy? Yes. But it does its job well. Now, I just sit back and enjoy the flavors. I’ve already made corn ice cream (very common in Brazil), vanilla with chocolate chips, and *dulce de leche*... now I’m going to get adventurous and try some other flavors. Said it came with 6 containers, only came with two. Received a credit for a few containers and the credit only works on the containers not compatible with my machine. Such a pain.     • EXTRA 4 TUBS SENT ARE FOR THE WRONG MACHINE!
Machine works great. Delivery great. My 4 instead of 5 star review is for one simple issue... To be clear to everyone thinking of buying this, and you're price comparison shopping and found another seller selling the same product for a bit cheaper, BUT theirs don't come with the 4 additional tubs as this one says it does, therefore u obviously choose this, as u are getting better bang for your buck. Well, don't. Why u ask? The extra tubs they send u for your XL machine, are NOT for this machine at all. They ONLY fit the smaller, older models. They do not seat into the outer base of the machine and WILL, not maybe, WILL damage your machine/the outer tub, as well as the improper container itself. That frustration aside, everything else is great. Just save yourself the headache and NEVER use the additional tubs they send u. ONLY use the 2 XL tubs that originally come with it. Haven't contacted seller yet. Just tried mine for the 1st time. Will update later with any update... ... show more
