I have used it make salsa, smoothies, glazes, chopping onions, tomatoes and even made hummus. I have yet to use it for other things. I am sure they will turn out great. With other blenders and smoothies, the results were poor. They either couldn't do the job, took too much space or, were overkill for what I needed. I am glad I bought this! We love Ninja products. So when I was looking for a food processor, I looked for Ninja. I bought the 9 cup food processor with this mini chopper, and I am so happy I did! I didn't know how much I'd been letting myself suffer and wasted time doing manual chopping, esp mincing food ingredients, until I used this chopper for the first time last night! In just 3 pulses, I minced my ginger and garlic to perfection! I don't need to stand for longer periods of time trying to mince perfectly. My lower back is thanking me... so happy! This chopper may be small, but it does an excellent job. One reason is the 4 blades which handle putting in a full load to be chopped. My husband has trouble swallowing so we have to chop most of his meals up and this does such a great job. Needless to say it gets used every day. It's easy to clean. I only hand wash it, but you do have to careful with the blades because they are very sharp. ... show more
