I have had this coffee maker for two weeks now. I make about 4 to 5 single cups per day, and I make a full carafe on the weekend days, so I definitely put a coffee maker to work. I just had problems with another brand where the single cup and the carafe came out in different spots - which eventually led to problems. My goal was to find a coffee maker where the single cup and the carafe used the same spout/water pump. This machine in the last two weeks has worked very well. It is not too difficult to figure out once you have read the owner's manual. I ordered a permanent basket filter at the same time as the coffee maker and the single cups and carafe both brew very quickly. The multiple water ports for the K-cup attachment make for a full-flavored cup of coffee. In addition to the multiple sizes available to brew, there is also a classic, rich, and iced coffee setting to determine how strong you like your coffee. The rich setting reduces the size of your cup by one ounce to make it a little stronger. When the carafe is removed, there is a fold down platform to set your single serve coffee cup on to brew. After having to replace my latest Keurig for the 5th time in 3 years (thankfully all under warranty), I began looking for something more reliable. Don’t get me wrong. Keurig has a wonderful warranty replacement policy, but 5 times in 3 years on a $200 machine? Ninja, of course, was at the top of my list for consideration. I have several other Ninja products that I love and have had no problems with. When I found this DualBrew, I felt it would be a great choice. My husband and I drink different blends of coffee in the morning, so k-cups work well as we can each have our favorite. In the evening, though, we both drink decaf as an after dinner treat. A pot of decaf is perfect for this and much less expensive than k-cups. If we have guests, making a large pot of coffee is also more cost and time effective. The Ninja DualBrew, like all Ninja products we own, seems well made and is sleek and slim, taking up only a small footprint of counter space. It is tall, though, as it accommodates a large travel mug in K-cup mode, so be sure to measure if you have low hanging cabinets over the counter. The removable 60 oz water reservoir makes filling and cleaning a breeze. In k-cup mode, 3 needles on top, instead of the usual one, ensure the coffee inside the pods gets thoroughly saturated for a better tasting brew. My previous Keurig did have 5 needles, but this Ninja was right on par taste wise. There is also a “rich” setting for a slightly stronger brew and an “over ice” setting as well as the classic brew that works in either k-cup or pot mode. A dial on the front allows you to choose the amount of coffee to be dispensed. The max setting for k-cups is 12 oz, but if your travel mug is larger like mine, I run the machine twice on the 8 oz setting using the same k-cup set on “rich”. This is perfect for me, but if you want an even stronger brew you could use a new k-cup for the second brew. Coffee made in either k-cup or pot mode comes out steaming hot. Pot mode also automatically triggers a keep warm feature to keep your coffee ready to drink for up to 4 hours. Switching between k-cups and pot is very easy. You just insert or remove the k-cup cartridge. For a pot of coffee, this Ninja uses regular #4 cone filters. I’ve only had my DualBrew for 2 months, so I can’t yet speak to longevity, but so far I’m loving it. I will update this review if anything changes. ... show more

This coffee maker is the best! Easy and weirdly enough…fun to use. Makes a great cup of coffee. It took a little time to guage how much coffee to use for a pot (I use three level if the large sided scoop for 37 oz). I like that its programmable and my coffee is ready when I wake up. The single brew works well. Coffee is hot and easy to rewarm with the warming feature. The only challenge is the lid to the pot is a little wonky to get back in place. ... show more

We weren't sure what we were getting when we bought this. Read reviews on soooo many coffee makers and this one seemed like a good combination of good coffee and nice price point. We have not been disappointed. At least once a week we turn to each other and say "wow, this was so worth the money." And the thing is, it wasn't that expensive. There are so many more expensive models. But we're very happy with this coffee maker that replaces another brand that had simply worn out. Coffee - especially on the rich setting - is super nice. I also like the flexibility to use pods. Very nice. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Very happy. ... show more
