We really loved our old Ninja coffee maker and I was so sad when it finally died (after many years). This coffee maker is such an upgrade, I couldn't love it more. The coffee tastes great and it's very easy to use. Plus, the pot doesn't drip when you pour (it's the little things).

We have had a classic Keurig for about 4 years. It still works but we decided it was time for a change. Coffee pods are becoming a budget buster so we wanted a machine with the ground coffee option. I just got the machine up and working and decided to test a cup. First off the amount of coffee I got was substantially more. The flavor was actually a little stronger and the coffee was hotter. I decided to run 6oz of water only through each machine to test amount brewed. I got a little over 2oz more from the Ninja! I have been struggling to find a coffee maker which will produce 55 ozs of coffee for my family breakfast. The problem is that I also want to be able to make single cups of coffee which taste just as good as the ones in the large carafe. Plus, my husband likes to have hot water for his tea. The media could not be loaded. This machine failed epically on the very first use right out of the box. The second one I captured on the video posted to this review, the first cup was definitely worse. Out of the first 3 pods I tried, only one was ok but the coffee tasted bad. Once I opened the outer box the product box was inside, the tape on the inner box was applied when it was in the outer box and the bags inside were torn and not packed like a manufacturer would do, I assume this was already returned for the same reason I returned it for since it appeared I was not the first person to open this package. I followed directions right from the manual step by step and used several different brands of pods all produced similar results. This machine is not capable of performing the primary function, the very reason it was created to brew a cup of coffee. This is the second model ninja that is incapable of producing a cup of coffee that is not full of grounds. To be clear I'm not talking a few specks in the bottom of the cup, I'm talking emptying the majority of the pod content into the cup. I will sadly never have enough trust to buy another ninja project again. ... show more

Makes really great coffee…. But also a lot of noise. I’ve never had a coffee machine make noises like this while brewing. That said, I love the delay feature, and the ease of use and cleaning.

    • Can’t go wrong with Ninja!
Ninja products are made so well and this coffee maker hasn’t disappointed us yet. Easy to use and works well with all kcups. The feature of the carafe works well if making coffee for a group. I had about 25 Keurigs that kept breaking and I’m glad we made the switch.
