I have only used this blender once so far, but I was extremely happy with how well it blended my drink into a smoothie. I no longer need to dirty a whole blender to make a smoothie for one, and this is portable enough that I can bring it to work and make my smoothies. This price is a bit more than what I wanted to spend, but I am sure there will be black friday deals.

i have been using vitamix blenders for many years. looking for a personal blender that can be used for making my morning smoothies, i tried a few small blenders, but found them lacking. the 'Ninja BlendBOSS | Personal Smoothie Blender & Tumbler | 26oz Travel Tumbler w/Leakproof Lid & Intergrated Chug Spout | AutoIQ Technololgy | 1200 Peak Watt | Watermelon Bubblegum | DB301GNBRN' is the latest addition to ninja's line of home appliances. this is a powerful blender that handles frozen fruit and greens with ease. we do not use ice in our household, but it seems this blender will be able to crush ice too. the tumbler is easy to wash. i like that it has a leakproof lid, but the handle is awkward and takes a lot of space in my bag. i guess, this tumbler is designed with people who are driving and put the tumbler in a cup holder. when i take my smoothie to go, i need to transfer it to 1 of my vitamix or breville tumblers. watermelon is my favorite melon, so i ordered this blender in a color called 'Watermelon Bubblegum'. the funky new colors seems fun at first, but they are not really my taste. they look out of place in my modern kitchen and somehow they remind me of the ice cream parlors we see in the movies that were so popular in the 60's. this is my first product by ninja. for a personal blender, the price seems to be rather high. i know, this is not a vitamix or a breville, so i do not expect the same lasting quality. still, it seems to be a popular brand, so i hope this blender will continue performing as intended, and last for years.

I recently upgraded to the Ninja BlendBOSS in the Lavender Lemonade color, and I’m honestly obsessed. This little blender packs a serious punch for its size! The 1200 watts of power make quick work of everything from frozen fruit to tough greens. My smoothies come out perfectly silky in just a minute. The Auto-iQ technology is a total game changer. Instead of standing there pulsing and guessing, I just hit one button and it cycles through the perfect blend pattern automatically. It’s fast, smart, and super consistent. The 26oz travel tumbler with its leakproof lid and chug spout makes it so convenient to take my drinks on the go. I can toss it in my bag on busy mornings without a single spill. The tumbler feels sturdy and fits in my car’s cup holder. The integrated spout makes sipping (or chugging) really easy during workouts or commutes. Aesthetically, I’m in love with the Lavender Lemonade color. It’s bright, modern, and looks gorgeous on my countertop. It’s nice to finally have a kitchen gadget that’s both powerful and stylish. There was no chemical smell straight out of the box as well (like I have noticed with some new blenders). Cleanup is a breeze, too. The blades, cup, and lid all rinse quickly. Everything is dishwasher-safe as well. If you’re looking for a personal blender that’s compact, beautiful, and performs like a full-size machine, the Ninja BlendBOSS is absolutely worth it. Perfect for smoothies, protein shakes, frozen drinks, or blending dressings and sauces (even my tofu chocolate pudding came out gorgeous). To be fair, I’ve only ever used bargain blenders before this, so I’m not comparing it to higher end options. But holy cow does this make the smoothest, creamiest smoothies I’ve ever made. No spinach chunks or blueberry skins are left unpulverized. I was kind of worried because the base is fairly compact, but this thing packs a serious punch! It also whips up protein/meal replacement powder drinks in no time and makes it easy to bulk those up with a banana or avocado. It has a recommended layering order that I’m assuming optimizes blending, so I go with that. The paperwork it comes with is very helpful. Packaging is great, nice and secure, with easy to follow instructions. The base has two little suction cups at the front that help hold it securely in place while it’s doing its thing. The lights on the front indicate how far along in the blending program it is. So far the ‘IQ’ function has been spot on. It cleans very easily. Instructions recommend adding some water and a drop of dish soap and then running the blender to clean it, which does totally work, but I don’t like having a messy blade just sitting around until I’m done drinking my smoothie so I clean it right away. The lid is totally leak proof. Overall it feels very well made, modern, effective, and attractive. Noise levels is… normal blender noise? It’s definitely not the worst but it doesn’t stand out as particularly muffled. Importantly, it doesn’t freak the cat out, so that’s a plus. I love it so much already. As someone who regularly makes smoothies, this is perfect. The fact that it’s such an attractive design really puts it over the top. This is a perfect powerhouse of a blender that also looks good sitting out on the counter.
