Boots - Comfortable and good quality.
Well, this is a first - I received and unboxed the boots only to find a very light dusting of mildew on parts of each boot...not all over, just a few areas of the leather. Update: the seller read my review and immediately contacted me. I let the email sit stagnant for some months as I cleaned the boots with alcohol prep pads then sealed with leather Glove conditioner. Being from the south, I am no stranger to the effects of high humidity. I finally responded to the email letting them know I love the boots and that I was going to get another pair which should hold me until retirement. The seller responded, wanting my address to send me another pair. BTW, not one time did the seller mention the review. On the initial contact, their comment was "how can we make it right". They never asked me to change or modify my review. Their sincere concern was my satisfaction with their product/service. Therefore, they will receive a 5 Star rating for their customer service and a 4 star rating for the boots, only because of the dusting. To be honest, the boots in regard to comfort, leather thickness, waterproof and overall quality would receive a 5 star from me. I will definitely do business with them in the future.

I'm a dump truck driver so I need grip when getting out the truck and steel toe when I step on a construction site. These boots do both and are comfortable at the same time .

Work well on dry surfaces, unfortunately they lose all traction after stepping onto wet surfaces.

I work in a sausage manufacturing plant, specifically on the rawside. These boots hold up well on the concrete floors that I walk on for 10-12hrs a day. They are very comfortable, but as soon as I walk through any sort of water, they lose nearly all grip. I start losing traction. And if I step in any sort of grease, it's game over, these boots will have you ice skating. I also feel like they are not even water resistant. Stepping in just an inch or two of water threatens to soak through to my socks. They would probably be better suited for a non-manufacturing job. Definitely a safety issue if they can't even handle a small puddle.

The shoe is hard and very uncomfortable! If you wear 3 pairs of socks then maybe it might be okay. Just getting the shoe on was uncomfortable! The inside of the shoe lace holes scratched my foot!! If your foot touches the top of the shoe it will be hard. Also ppl mentioned the shoe is wide. It feels like a regular size shoe to me. The steeI toe does seem very hard like it will protect your foot really good. I returned the shoe. It's too uncomfortable.

Alright so I've had some time to use these and here's the pros and cons. Pros: Wide and comfy Strong toe Good looking Cons: Seams are cheap coming apart and allowing things to fall into the shoe through the top like hot metal while I'm welding. The soles are crap and made of a soft spongy foam material instead of something durable so they are already falling apart 2 weeks in.

comfort, quality and price!
I work for a tree service and I really put work boots to the test. My old boots were a $50 pair from Walmart and they lasted about 8 months before the soles were falling apart and letting dust dirt and debris in. I have been using these boots for about a month and I really like them! They are pretty comfortable and grippy. They keep my feet dry and secure. They do run a bit small but I read the reviews and saw people were saying that so I ordered a size 9 (I wear 9 1/2) they are still a bit big but nothing to bad. My heel does rub on the back and I got blisters on both my heels but I stuffed a bit of a plastic sack behind my heel and that solved my problem. Overall pretty solid boots for a reasonable price, its really hard to find boots for a good price these days so I'm happy with my purchase.
